REPLACE THAT OLD AUTOMATIC TENSIONER THAT WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL YOU. HAVE COMFORT KNOWING THIS ONE CAN NOT COLLAPSE UNDER STRESS.

MANUAL CAM CHAIN TENSIONERS ARE DESIGNED TO REPLACE THE AUTOMATIC AND HYDRAULIC TENSIONERS ON HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINES. THE AUTOMATIC ADJUSTERS CAN BACK OUT WHEN THE THROTTLE IS CLOSED SUDDENLY AT HIGH RPM. THIS ALLOWS THE CAMS TO GO MOMENTARELY OUT OF TIME, AND CAN RESULT IN BENT VALVES AND  SERIOUS ENGINE DAMAGE. HYDRAULIC TENSIONERS HAVE A TENDENCY TO PUT TOO MUCH TENSION ON THE CHAIN GUIDE UNDER HIGH RPM (HIGH OIL PRESSURE CONDITIONS), RESULTING IN PREMATURE WEAR. BOTH PROBLEMS CAN BE ELIMINATED WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE CRU MANUAL TENSIONER. NO MATER WHAT THE ENGINE DOES, THE CAM CHAIN TENSION WILL REMAIN CONSTANT. A CRU MANUAL CAM CHAIN TENSIONER IS A MUST FOR ANY KIND OF PERFORMANCE RIDING. CRU MANUAL TENSIONERS ARE CNC MACHINED FROM BILLET ALLOY TO EXACT TOLERANCES FOR PERFECT FIT.

Will they fit the cowl flaps on my B-29?
Why did I not find these sooner. How many times did I go to an auto parts store and spend $4.00 for just 3 of rivets. I just opened the box an hour ago and it's Christmas all over again. If you are wondering if they will fit that annoying hole in the 8-track in your Pacer, measure the hole with a drill bit and reference the chart in the picture I posted. They are 1/4"- 5/16" - 3/8" -23/64". If you can't do that get your little sister to help. They will fit anything in that size range, you just gotta decide how permanent you want them. All can be removed with the handy tool included. These are a great deal for a good product and you can use them for other projects beyond that tape deck.

Will they fit the cowl flaps on my B-29?
I had to change out the serpentine belt on one of my vehicles, and of course such a simple job required me to remove the front passenger wheel and plastic mud guard behind the wheel in order to access the belt. I miss the good ole days when the belt was right up front and took all of five minutes to replace….but I digress. This kit comes with a wide variety of these plastic rivets, and they don’t seem to be of any less quality than the OEM plastic rivets. The rivet removal tool is a plus if you don’t already have one. It really makes removing those little buggers a lot easier. If you work on vehicles, you know it’s a good idea to have a kit like this on-hand, because plastic rivets get brittle over time, and you’re probably going to break a few during removal. This kit will give you the peace of mind that you have replacements if you break rivets during removal.

It'll do in a pinch
I had to remove several under fender and undercarriage covers on a Jeep WK2. Every cover had a combination of 19mm (think 3/4") metric bolts and plastic retainer clips. Since I knew that "Mr. Murphy" was attending the cover removal, I bought the kit. Murphy did mangle several of the clips and the kit had exact looking replacements. The included clip puller was a bit under sized and a set of visegrips probably were responsible for the clip mangling. The kit is substantially less money that buying onesies-twosies in the "off the rack" plastic bubbles. Really nice not to have to reinstall trashed clips and worry that they will hold.

As Advertised w/ OEM Sizes
Altogether a nice little set for the price. I have a 2005 Scion xB & have used some of the clips in various areas where they were missing or have broken, you have to realize that not all these clips will fit on whatever kind of car you have. I outweigh this fact with the nice quality tools you get with it. The thing I actually like most about this kit is the tools it comes with. You get all these clips plus the tools you need to remove panels without scratching the paint or interior. I already had a set from a while back of the plastic tools but never hurts to have another set as they can get beat up after being used a lot. All in the price is well worth getting various clips which you may end up needing plus tools that will definitely be useful.

Cheap insurance policy
If you plan on doing any work on your car, having this set is must-have. Manufacturers are continuously moving away from standard screws and nuts to all kinds of different fasters. The problem with those is that most break when you remote them. Having to run to a parts store isn't always an option when you have half your car apart and need one fastener to put it together. This kit provides you an excellent assortment of fasteners that work on multiple makes. Needed 2 for my daughter's Dodge Caliber yesterday and needed one for a neighbor's Camry the day before. The fasteners seem to be on the brittle side and not quite OEM quality but they will do the job, These mostly end up out of site so as long as they provide a nice tight fit - which they do - jagged edges and seems from the molding process don't really matter. The included tools are a mixed bag. I actually wanted this kit primarily for the remover. Using a flathead screwdriver isn't always the best option for removing fasteners and retainers. Especially at odd angles. The included tool is of low to mid quality. It has held up after a couple of uses and it sturdy enough to do the job. But you're not getting a Crafstman or Husky or Stanley (or whatever brand you prefer) quality tool that'll last a lifetime. The handle feels cheep but so long as it doesn't break, it does it's job. I have yet to use the other orange plastic tools yet. Those definitely are of cheap quality and I fail to see them getting many uses at all. For less than $20, this is a worthy addition to your garage. Just one or two uses and you'll have gotten your money's worth out of it. Everything else after that is gravy.

Nice set
So far it's done everything I needed for running power from the engine to the trunk and running review backup camera for my wife's car. There are a ton of different fasteners, clips, rivets even across the same vehicle and just having a large assortment to choose from saves time and trips to try and get pieces back in place when the factory pieces inevitably break. Personally it's just faster to rip out the old ones and have new one on hand to replace them. The clips in the engine bay and wheel wells are going to be brittle from extreme weather and temperature variations so you can try to gingerly remove them and save them but it really does waste a lot of time with often no reward but frustration. Rip em out and replace them and save the time and sanity. This set has more than I needed and some of the ones aren't specified for my vehicles, but they work just fine for replacing lost or broken fasteners in my trunk for the carpet that was loose. The tools are better than some sets I already had and work. So not much to complain about when you are replacing cheap pieces anyways. So far they don't pop out or break and perform just like OEM. So unless you literally only need one piece and none ever again it's a good set to get and have on hand.

Cheap Must-Have For Your Garage
If you’re the type of guy who hates seeing loose coverings on your vehicle and want parts secured, then this is a product you should have in your garage. I cannot tell you how many time I took my vehicles into shops that remove parts, break bumper retainers, and don’t replace the retainers. I’m aware that if the bumper or coverings are missing a retainer, it doesn’t determine the vehicle will properly operate or not. For me, it’s just making sure things are secured. Though it says “bumper” containers, it can be used anywhere to secure what needs to be secured using the right retainer size. The tools that come with the package makes it easy to remove old retainers and is a definite item to have. Overall, I’m happy I made this purchase and I’ll be buying more when I run out.

We all see it
If you have a vehicle and ever need to do any maintenance on your own you need a set of these. Over time the OEM versions of these on your cars get hard and brittle. They either don't come off and you curse trying to remove them or they break and you have to replace them. Usually the latter, so best to have a good assortment. I've used these on a use car I purchased that was missing several up front under the hood holding some beauty panels on. Someone obviously broke most of them getting the panel off and didn't bother putting new ones on. Good assortment of sizes and quantities. Expect these to last about as long as OEM and I'm sure after numerous years they'll break just like OEM ones do trying to get them off.

Will they fit the cowl flaps on my B-29?
the little pry tool bar that it comes with is worth the price of this entire kit on its own! you hear me?!!! that little thing has come in handy in so many different situations, its ridiculous. the little orange pry bars too. looveee. as for the little black plastic pieces...i don't know if they are actually meant for an 05 jeep liberty, which is what i bought them to use with, for my front bumper.....but i had a lot of trouble finding ones that worked with what i was working on. I made it work with some pushing and pulling and boring and what not,, but i don't think that this was the kit i needed for my particuloar ride. not hating though. it did the jjob and i am beyond grateful!

yesssss
I needed to replace one of those black plastic retainer clips that popped off my truck. I went to the dealer and it only cost me $2.00 plus tax. This time I saw your add for an entire box of clips plus a tool to remove old clips and I ordered it. I didn't need it right away but thought I would like to have a couple of spare clips handy, just in case. My Toyota is a 2007 and the clips pop off and break easier than they did previously. I have more than paid for the entire box within the past few months, plus I don't have to drive to the dealer.

Great tool to have!
It's difficult to review this. They perform well, they've held everything in place I've used them for, and I haven't had any to break on install or uninstall (even oem broke). So they seem like a good quality plastic, I don't see any issues here unless you've installed and have too much pressure which will snap anything else. I did take a star off as the tools are the opposite. If you have your own durable tools, use them. These tools are absolute trash. But many of us don't buy for those, just be aware if you use them (they should come with a danger warning!).

Only needed ONE
This works great for different applications. I had to remove the intake duct to change the battery on my 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. The retainer clips that I removed broke and I dont believe they were the stock clips as I removed a Kia battery out of my Mitsu (which I purchased at a Kia dealer so makes sense). This product helped me ensure I had the right clips for the job instead of doing guess work.

Sturdy and reliable
With a wife that hits every curb and every low hanging object in the known world, I have put the black plastic pieces back under her cars for years using anything I could find, and attached header panels the same way. This kit is a life saver! Has just about every standard size push retainer you could ask for, the tools included make taking busted old ones out a snap too! Wish I had bought this many years ago! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KIT!

Just what I needed
My local parts store charges almost $6 for just two clips. My stepson has a Honda Accord and we had to remove the front bumper to change the headlights, and a bunch of the clips securing it were brittle and broke when we removed it. I paid over $30 for replacement clips because we needed them immediately. Once we were done I found these and bought them immediately. Same clips, just way cheaper, plus it comes with the removal tools and spudgers! You can't beat this deal!

Works great and saves a ton of money!
These clips I bought for a 2004 Scion xB and they were a perfect match as the majority of these clips fit on there I use them to fix the headliner on the hood and the grill on my bumper and they worked really good. A plus is the tools that it comes with all in all this was a great bargain I strongly recommend this product to anybody in the market for headliners in your hood or clips for the bumper or even the headliner inside the car.

Great variety
The number of broken and deformed plastic push pin connectors on my various vehicles finally exceeded my tolerance threshold. This kit has a huge variety of types and sizes and I've used the clips on both my Jeep and my wife's Infiniti so far. Very happy. I already have a removal tool but the included one is a little thinner and wider and has actually helped me out once already so it was a nice bonus. I should have gotten this a long time ago!
