Color temp adjustment.
As a contractor, I have come across many home owners what can't make up there mind on the kelvin light scale. so I would have to install different shades of the light scale so they can choose. THIS IS A PROBLEM SOLVER. if they don't like the light scale they have chosen, (witch they usually don't) all you have to do is drop the light down and set it to a color of there choice and slide it back up. that simple. I do hope that one day they will make it in a square light fixture.

New should mean NEW! Not used and repackaged.
These lights seem to be great. They have a great coverage pattern with even coloration throughout their beam. The color settings are really easy to set, and because of the spring clips, you can leave them accessible while you get the color set just right. 5 position switch on top of light allows for easy change between 2700K-5000K. Pros: - Great color - Great output (brightness) - Dimmable - Easy adjustment of warm/cool coloration - Price Cons - Color isn't completely smooth at low level dimming. This is typical of LEDs, so not a big deal, just nitpicking.

Color temp adjustment.
I had several Feit ceiling cans installed during a remodel. They worked great up until I installed a Lutron Caseta smart dimmer. Then one started buzzing loudly. I looked up approved replacements for the switch and this one looked most promising. These fixed the buzzing issue. The bezels are similar to Feit which I like. The adjustable temperature is a nice touch, though I'd have been just as happy if they were fixed at the default 2700k setting.

Bright, accurate color, simple changes
Wow! These things are fantastic! My kitchen can lights are 20 years old and look it. I saw these on a YouTube handyman video and looked like just what I needed. It took less that 5 minutes to install and look great! They clip right in and offer 5 different light temperature settings. If you need to update your can lights, get these. You will not regret it.

Looks great, resolves my issue
I installed 50 in my home two years ago and all still working. Today I added four more to my kitchen. It is so nice to control from warm white to daylight my turning a switch. Wonderful bright LED lights!!

Where are U in the Woodworking World?
I bought this hoping that it would serve my purpose without spending $80 on a "professional" square. For all of my life, I've had different kinds of squares available to me but, I guess it wasn't until I needed one of my projects to be "spot on" that I realized nothing I had was good enough. I've always worked with wood but, I never really crafted anything that I cared about being "square" square. Not to mention that I "assumed" all squares were SQUARE. Well, that's a croc. They are not! I didn't expect this combo square to be perfect but, so far I'm well pleased with it's accuracy. I don't have a caliper to check it but, from the checks I've made it seems to be fine and so far, square enough for my application. I would buy it again. I'd say that for the money, it's worth a try.

Where are U in the Woodworking World?
Honestly I don't think I have ever been happier with a tool purchase before. I was expecting a blade that was parallel on both sides, measured customary measurements to 1/16", and a body I needed to file the lower guide on to make it parallel. That's a fairly low bar, but at this price point I think it's the best you can reasonably expect. I got a square that's actually square to .5mm over 250mm out of the package and has a 1/16" scale on one side and 1/32" and 1mm scales on the other. It may be that I just got super lucky on it being square, but unless you want to spend 10x as much it's actually pretty reasonable to think you're going to have to file the body. Essentially, you can pay a craftsman to clean it up or you can learn to do it yourself. I do wish the blade had the more precise measurements on both sides but given neither the pictures nor the description told me it had metric or 1/32" precision I'll happily take what I got.

well made and true
Great combination square for the price. I did the classic test drawing a line using the square, then turning the square and drawing the line in the same exact spot to check if it matches and the results are really good for this price. With pencils the lines match perfectly. Only with thinner lines I can see a little difference(maybe 1/64). I added pictures of the results. Do not compare this with a Starret. A better one a little more expensive would be the iGaging squares. But this one does a great job. Also, I didn't know it has a little marking pointer to make thin lines. Apparently every combination square has it.

Square and more accurate than expected
I needed an inexpensive square for quick, rough work like 2x4s and the like. My good square is a Fowler which is over $200. I am not using that one for the projects that just need quick non-precise lines. I have a couple others but took a chance on this one. I like it a lot. I have a metal squaring block that I put these on before tightening the knob. It will stay true until you need to adjust it again but I usually keep in at full extension anyway. It's only 13 bucks so if it fell off the roof, I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

Great combination square for this price. Do not compare it with a $100 combination square
Easy to check, easy to return if you got a bad one. This is heavier (more substantial) than my dad's antique, which I've been using for 40 years myself. It has a somewhat annoying spring inside. (Loosen it only a little bit and the ruler slides with lots of friction). I'm wondering if those who say it's not square slid it too often and wore the edges down, or if they didn't tighten it enough to overcome the spring? I plan to yank that thing out so it works like my trusty antique.

Great for rough work
Some of the reviews say that it is not perfectly square, can not comment on that as mine is decent enough for the scale it does(proof of this is in pictures). Obviously it is not the best one out there it does not slide easy so you have to loosen it up quite a bit, also the edges of the ruler ar a bit too sharp and can scratch delicate surfaces easily. Well if you want to use it professionally why are you even considering this one just go ahead and get yourself Starrett. For a diy er its absolutely fine.

mine is square
Very well made, feels relatively heavy and sturdy when you grab it. The ruler has very good etched markings. Both sides are used: one side Imperial and the other side is Metric. I was looking for a combination square for quite some time. Sure, the "expensive" models do look nice to show off but what the heck ... I wanted something functional without breaking the bank. This combo square is great and can do what the elite can do, no problems! I can't stress enough its qualities, so do yourself a favor and buy this one.

Great tool for money. With minor downsides.
Yep, I live in one of the last 3 countries that doesn't use the metric system (yet) and have trouble finding tools in metric for a reasonable price. I had nearly spent a bit more to get one that was metric on one side but figured this would work for now. I just got it today and will come back to finish this review once I've had a chance to use it and check for accuracy.

Where are U in the Woodworking World?
The Irwin combination square has a very rigid and solid feel and its weight is nice (my preference on weight). The square has inches/imperial depending on how you call it of (1/8",1/16",1/32") and metric (cm). The bubble gauge is a transparent yellow/green, so you'll be able to see through to your working surface if need be. There is a scribe pin on the bottom of the handle, looks like a brass colored bulb nice addition for crisp lines/markings (the scribe is not carbide but still works). Overall great square, meets the basics and then some.

Great square for the low cost
Made my small projects a bit easier, seems sturdy, lines up with my other measuring tools, so either everything I own is off, or they are all good. Once locked, I’ve never had an issue with it moving.

Nice...should last forever
I've always gotten by without a combination square in woodworking, but finally broke down and bought this one. It came perfectly in square and I'm realizing how many uses it has now that I have it. It's a reliable go-to tool I always have in arm's-reach now.

Works Great
I like this combination square because it allows more accurate measures, put straight lines on any surfaces using either pencil, pens, markers, or even the scribe that comes with the combination square. Like I mention on the title is the use of the combination square such as marking 45 degree angles, 90 degree angles, and be stable when using it with wood, metal and other materials.

The ease of use of this combination square
I've been looking for a reasonably priced square for a while that is ACTUALLY.. you know.. square! So I'm pretty happy with getting this one in and finding that it's well-aligned and there aren't any problems. I wish they made more in larger sizes.

Great value.. 1 of the 2 I bought needed tweaking to be square.
This square made my job easy on making straight accurate angular lines on a piece of plywood that I used as flooring on my conversion camper van. Great tool.

Good square that's actually square.
Ordered this to help with (mainly) tile cutting during a recent bathroom reno, so pleased I ordered this one. The sliding nature allows you to select and lock in any measurement that in turn helps with marking your work, this single feature has helped me hundreds of times and saved me a ton of time. Also having the ability to mark at 45' as well as 90 have been essential for me. All in all, an absolutly fabulous tool for a fantastic price.
