American Encaustic was, reportedly, the largest tile manufacture in the world, with an enormous factory in Zanesville, Ohio and a magnificent showroom on East 41st Street in midtown Manhattan. This piece depicts a partially-draped female nude holding a large bowl on her shoulder in a lovely, pale green glaze." Helpful Information: All of my items are pre-owned or vintage in nature.
