This Boot Badge Fit Just Perfectly In Place!
I got this rear boot badge emblem for my BMW X5 and I must say that I am impressed. It has good build quality. The body is made up of steel and plastic, and is durable enough to last long. It comes with two pins at the back which help in easy fixation on the place. I love the BMW logo which is well designed and given a 3D texture!

The Breaded Texture In The Centre Looks Really Cool Man!
I am really happy to have got this rear badge emblem for my BMW X7. I am personally impressed with the build as the chromic metal body is durable enough to last long. Man, the black and white threaded design in the centre makes it even more desirable. It suits well with my car!!!

Great rear view camera. Easy to install, good image, no issues.
I think everyone reads the bad reviews on things, but not the good ones. I'm torn between putting one star and telling people what's really going on with an item, and putting 5 stars so it doesn't hurt the seller. Not sure how that actually affects things, since people "repost" an item as soon as they get too many negative reviews. Both flaw and blessing on the part of Amazon. As far as this product goes, it's amazing for the price I paid. Anywhere locally, you are paying 75 dollars for something comparable to this. But it's everything I had hoped for when I clicked "buy now". It still works after 6 months. It turns on every time I put my truck in reverse. I think the camera itself is a great product. If the connections are constantly exposed to the elements, you might have minor issues. If you can somehow waterproof the connections, I would advise it. Like I said, minor issues. My connections got wet, then froze for like a week straight. Once it started to thaw a little, I noticed that there was no picture. I checked everything twice and finally the third time I pulled the connections and blew them out with compressed air. Adjusted the outer "fingers" on the rca plugs and haven't had a problem since. I didn't even waterproof it or anything after that. Yeah, I know. What impressed me most about this company...in the box came a card that said "we will be here to help you with your product, FOREVER." I used quotes, but I don't think that reflects what was said verbatim. But that is absolutely what they meant. Who knows? Maybe they will, and maybe they won't. I'll never know, because even if this does break, I've certainly gotten my money's worth, and then some, already. Highly recommend.

Crazy Thin Wire Gauge
10 gen Civic backup cameras suffer from cloudiness caused by moisture getting inside the camera. The factory replacement is $150 US and I could not find a plug & play aftermarket compatible. After a bit of research I figured it may be possible to wire in an aftermarket cam and have it work with the Civic's stock head unit. I bought this one, wired it in & it works like a champ. The camera comes with all the wires you'll need to install in your vehicle and the video is great - much better than the stock cam. What made it work for me, and probably for most vehicles was leaving the original camera in the car & plugged in. I cut the NTSC input from the stock cam and wired this cam's video-in to it; that & shield. Got power from the backup lights and that was it. Leaving the old camera in establishes the communication between the stock cam and the head unit so the car "recognizes" it and will use the NTSC signal for the video feed. The only constructive criticism I would have for the manufacturer would be to give the cam a bit more pivot downward. I pointed it as far down as it would go but for me, I still needed a bit more so I put a couple table-levelling wedges behind the top mounts for the license plate to push the top out a bit. Worked just fine. Like I said a minor thing and I wouldn't take a star away for it - this is a 5-star product. Saved me some major coin and the video is much better than a factory replacement would have been. Good build quality too. I'm picky about that and this one passes the test.

I'm torn
This is a great simple license plate backup camera. I wanted to post details about the included cables since I couldn't find any reliable info in the description or other reviews. The box contains: (1) the camera, with a hard-wired female RCA video and female 12v power connection, (2) a male 12v power cord (about 5 feet) that has bare black and red wires at the other end, (3) a male-male RCA video cable (at least 20 with integrated trigger wire leads at either end (basically just a long wire that's molded into the video cord so you can connect the reverse light power line to the camera, and then to whatever monitor setup you have). My setup will be integrating this camera with a 4-camera RV kit that eRapta also sells here. I got that kit for my 33' travel trailer. I'm going to splice this license plate camera into the same line as one of the RV cameras and wire in an A-B switch on the dash so I can select which camera feeds into the display at any time. The RV kit allows any combination of up to 4 cameras to display at the same time, so when the trailer is hooked up I'll switch over to probably the rear view of the trailer, and when I'm just driving without the trailer or backing up to it, I'll switch over to the license plate camera for its normal function.

Perfect replacement for crazy-expensive Honda Civic backup camera.
I purchased this as an add-on to an Alpine ILX-W650 that I installed in a 2003 Ford F150. The installation was very straight forward, but when I hooked everything up I didn't have a picture. I contacted customer service, who contacted me back within 12 hours. They gave me several things to try, and they assured me that they were there for me if I needed more assistance. In the end, it turned out that a power source that I tapped in to did not actually have power running to it (the trailer connector - so more troubleshooting for another day!). Once I changed to a source that was hot when in reverse, everything worked great. The camera comes on automatically when I put the truck in reverse. For what it's worth, I don't rely heavily on backup cameras, but it is nice having a second set of eyes on the truck! Bottom line - it's a pretty good picture, the installation is straightforward (depending on your vehicle and radio), and the customer service is fantastic. For the price, I highly recommend it!

Great simple back-up camera or multi-cam add-on!
So I got a very confused when soldering the two red wires. If you look at the installation diagram, it shows the camera end has to be powered by the reverse light with an black plug in cord with the exposed black and red wire to the reverse light. Okay got that part down. But then it shows the long wire that runs from your monitor screen to the camera with a yellow male plug in and an exposed red trigger wire. The direction says that trigger red wire also has to be soldered together with the other red wire that goes to the reverser light however that red wire, when you hooked everything up, is only 2 inches and is very very far from the reverser light. So at this point, I took a take a wild guess. At the connection point of that yellow connection, on the camera wire side, I have to open up the wire bundle. After cutting and exposing that wire bundle there were a black and red cable. So I figured I have to solder the trigger red wire to that red wire because that red wire should already be getting power from the reverse light from the other red wire. Indeed this works however this should have been in the direction. The instruction is very poorly written. For novice installers, this will be very confusing.

Would order again!
Installed on a 2015 Corolla. It fits fine on the face of the license plate, the camera image is quite clear, and the LEDs enable a very good camera image at night as well. The big con, which seems to be true of most/all of these aftermarket backup cameras: the power and ground wires are extremely fine stranded wire, smaller than you see anywhere else in the stereo system, and you CANNOT use crimps to connect them to your other power and ground leads. The wires are so small that the crimps might seem to work (if you pull on them to test) but when you try the camera either it doesn't work or it works for a while, becomes intermittent, and then stops working. "Standard" size crimp connectors, that work fine with every other wire associated with the stereo, just don't make reliable contact with these wires, you will need to either twist/braid or solder the wires, and then cover the connection with electrical tape or heatshrink. After I figured out my connection problem, twisting and electrical tape worked fine.

Confusing instruction for the red trigger wire...
This is the second eRapta camera i havre purchased from this seller. First was installed in my Ford Taurus, this one is installed on my ford f250 super duty. This camera makes parking & getting in and out of tight places a lot easier, and ads a level of safety being able to see what’s behind my vehicle, or approaching while i am backing up. It also makes hooking up my cargo trailer a breeze for one person, as i can see the exact location of the trailer hitch in relation to the ball hitch. Camera was easy to install, just using wire taps connect to ground & power using tow hitch wiring, and hooking the trigger wire to the backup light. Camera view during the day is perfect, and near perfect at night or in poor visibility conditions. Only issue is in cold weather at night, when vehicle is started cold, camera lights reflect off the exhaust gasses, impairing view. Having the backup camera increases my confidence while backing this vehicle up, so much so, that i am considering replacing my head unit with one that allows 2 cameras so that I can add a camera to the front bumper.

I would buy it again
I finally got around to installing this camera on my '07 Honda Element and it works very well with the Sony XAV-1000 I installed previously. I got a little confused installing this unit and it took me extra time because I was hoping to power the unit whenever the car is running so I could use it as a rearview camera whenever I wanted instead of only in reverse, but there are these bright led lights (they are a good thing, just didn't want them lit the entire time) that illuminate behind me. So I wired both the power and the triggle wire to the reverse light and it's working as it should. I can't use the camera while driving on the highway, but that's probably a good thing really. The image quality is very bright and good during the day but excellent in the dark appearing almost like daylight when reversing. The reverse lines are helpful and adjustable and the "box" on the camera (which I think is supposed to represent where your car would be? I'm not sure) can be toggled on and off on screen might bhelp people who know what it is. Overall, I'm very pleased

Perfect Backup camera for safety & for Parking assistance
Works well, easy to install and power up from reverse lights. It can be tilted to a desired position. Can be used with any radio capable of receiving RCA video input.

Good camera at a great price
Just installed this on my 2013 Corolla with model 86140-02150 (57056) radio. Bought a pass through adapter for the video input connector which included the additional video and 6V and Gnd leads. Radio requires camera power at startup so bkup light/tail light install won't work. Even thought the camera ad says 12-24V, I ran the camera power leads all the way to the radio and tied them to the 6V and ground along with the video and everything works as it should. no need for trigger wires. Camera lights stay on about 50 secs past backing up then shut off. Probably controlled by the radio power output. (Note that you won't see power at the 6V line unless in reverse.) Great camera and once connected enabled radio camera controls (brightness and contrast)

Great rear view camera. Easy to install, good image, no issues.
After receiving the product, it took about 30 mins to install. The radio and camera would detect that it was in reverse, but i would only get a message "No Video". I rewired the camera and checked all the connections, but still only got the no signal message. The LEDs on the camera would light up, so i knew it was connected properly. I contacted the seller through email and they were very responsive. With in six days they had sent me a replacement unit and it worked perfectly. Great seller, great product.. I would definitely purchase this again. One thing to note is to be very careful when screwing the unit on with the license plate bolts. The wings are made of a hard plastic that cracks very easily. A flexible rubber might have been a better choice, however then that might not be as stable.

Crazy Thin Wire Gauge
I drive a bit of an older car, a 94 Accord so when i decided to get a stereo that supports a backup camera, I decided to hook one up while I'm installing it anyways. For this price, it was definitely worth it. Installation was very easy as for the stereo side, you only have to plug 'Video In', and wire the 'Reverse In.' I would recommend you solder outside the car to properly wire it, but you can probably get away with twisting the ends together and covering it with electrical tape. Connecting the rear side, the instructions are very clear, with minimal wiring needed to the reverse lamp and towards the camera. Adjusting it is super easy, the wire is plenty long which makes things very easy. I had plenty of extra room in the Accord, and had a foot or two to spare when hooking it up to a 08 Tundra. Picture quality is pretty smooth, no lag at all, even during the night it has plenty of light to see things accurately. I've tried it with 2 different radios its been smooth between both. Overall I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a cheap, reliable and easy to connect camera.

Great product
I installed this camera with minimal issues on a 2012 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab as part of a factory stereo overhaul project. Video Cable I ran the video cable along the passenger side frame of the truck and into the cab through a hole I drilled into a blank "plug" in the floor in front of the passenger seat. If you decide to run the cable along the drivers side there is a rubber grommet under the carpet in front of the drivers seat. Power Cables I connected the power and ground wires to the passenger side reverse light using wire splicing connectors as follows: - Power -> Backup light Green wire - Ground -> Backup light "middle" Black wire (The bottom black wire is a ground wire that feeds into the other lights) I connected this camera to a Pioneer AVH-X390BS stereo that is using the iDataLink Maestro MRR / iDataLink Maestro GM5+ Harness (HRN-RR-GM5). Since the MRR / GM5+ harness provides a wire for signaling the reverse gear selection, there was no need to connect the Red power wire on the video cable. - If your stereo adapter kit does not provide a wire for signaling the reverse gear selection then you should be able to connect the Red wire on the video cable to the reverse light's Green power wire. By doing this the Red wire on the video cable will be able to supply power for you to connect to your stereo's camera switching function. Note: On Pioneer touch screen stereo's you have to enable the backup camera and set the polarity to "Battery" in order for the camera to work properly. The only issue with this camera that I've seen so far is that at night the LED lights seem to be a little too bright and can cause a white glow at the edges of the video feed. This doesn't really affect the functionality of the camera, but it's something to note.

Perfect for any Vehicle
I purchased this license plate camera to connect to a new stereo I installed in my wife's pickup. I had previously installed a dashcam (with rear camera) in the truck, and was adding this camera as a "backup" camera on the larger screen of the stereo. This camera mounted very easily, the "night lights" are amazingly bright and provide good light to backup with at night. (Yes the pickup has it's own backup lights but the camera ones are very bright). The picture quality is good and the ease of installation was nice. I thought the adjustable part of the camera might not hold position as there isn't a "set" screw to lock it in place, but so far the camera has stayed in position even over rough gravel roads. I'm pretty impressed with the ease of installation and quality of the camera. Would be nice if there was a way to adjust the "backup lines" (Green/Red/Yellow) to better reflect the actual distance you are from an object. (When you stop at the last part of the Red line, you still have a couple feet of room between the vehicle and the object). I would recommend this camera for use as it is easy to install and the picture quality seems very good. We'll see how long it lasts and report back again.

Great camera and easy to install
I like using the license plate style camera as with the tailgate down you can still see backing up. I also like that it just taps into the reverse lights for a reverse indicator for the radio, a little more wiring towards the back of the truck, but much simpler install at the head unit end, as finding the reverse indicator in the dash can be a pain, on older cars it's not usually anywhere near the stereo. Also plenty of wire to run from end of a 6' bed to the inside of a single cab compact pickup. Angle and picture quality are fairly good, see example rear view from mirror and rear view from camera. I left the parking lines wire uncut, as they helped to set the up and down angle of the camera, so definitely helps, and I can turn off the parking lines in my head unit so no conflict there.

Great Backup Camera!
I actually purchased this to replace a previously installed camera that stopped working. So I was able to re-use my existing wiring in place (connect to a +12v trigger, like the reverse lamp circuit, and a suitable ground, preferably on the same circuit). The power plug was compatible with my existing one, so I didn't have to disconnect the old one and run the new one -- a prime reason why I picked this model (along with the number of positive recommendations). My old camera was good, while it lasted... this one is a perfect replacement: - Image isn't distorted, due to 'fisheye' effect (resolution is better than the old one) - Camera lens angle is adjustable (important for me) - Guidelines look / act just like what I was accustomed to, with the old camera (they're defeatable, too) - Good in low light scenarios. I use this for ease of aligning my rear hitch mount with my trailer -- to that end, it does just what I need it to. Hopefully the IP69 waterproof rating helps it last a little longer than my first camera. Recommended.

Works well for a truck.
Installed on my 2005 Honda Element and am very happy with results. Wired the power into the driver’s side reverse light with the help of Posi-tap wire connectors. Can’t recommend these connectors highly enough: Worth the cost & really save time and provide solid contact. Picture quality both day & night are quite clear. Trickiest part of the process is accessing wiring in the car. With the help of a few YouTube videos the camera install is pretty straight forward. Take a few minutes to align proximity guide lines of the stereo (horizontal) with those of the camera (vertical sides) and you’re good to go. Only criticism is that the plastic camera casing and bracket feels a bit cheap and covers the majority of the top 1” of the license plate. That said, for the cost and picture quality, I would 100% make this purchase again. Hoping

Not the absolute cheapest, but good quality for the price
NOTE: I ACCIDENTLY ADDED THIS REVIEW TO ANOTHER CAMERA BRAND I BOUGHT ON AMAZON. I WILL ADD THE FOLLOWING REVIEW TO THAT PURCHASE. THIS CMAR HOW EVER WORKED PERFECT ON MY 2004 F250. I bought this camera several months ago and finally got around to installing it. I had to replace the lug on the windshield as my original would not fit the new camera mount. I used Clear Gorilla Glue to attach the lug. Two attempts with a auto type brand did not adhere to the windshield. I suggest anyone installing this type of camera regardless of the brand to purchase KOLACEN Automotive Car Truck 10 Pieces 16 Gauge Add-a-Circuit Fuse TAP Adapter for Regular Standard Blade Type Fuse + 10 Pieces 15Apm Standard Fuse (Amazon) for ease of installation. Kolachen makes several blade type fuse taps. Overall satisfied with this purchase.

Clear picture day/night
Installed this on the top of my license plate. The wire lengths were not nearly long enough for my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, but we had extra wires on hand that were more than adequate to make up the shortfall. Once it was installed, however, it has made a world of difference. The camera works great and the picture is clear and visible, even in the darkest of nighttimes. The picture also has guidelines to show exactly how far we may be from whatever is behind us. If it weren't for the wires being too short for our van, I would give it 5 stars, but as that complicated the install, I can only give it 4.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
I installed this in my 2003 Saab convertible after putting in a Sony touch screen head unit. Installation went pretty smoothly, and the picture quality is great. Just be patient when installing and follow instructions. Checking out some YouTube videos and other sources before starting will be helpful also. Most brands of cameras seem to work basically the same way. The thing that will take the most time is routing the wires. I had to drill a hole behind my license plate to feed the wires through. One minor caveat: the bracket that holds the camera is pretty chunky. It's not unsightly, but it did cover most of my license plate's expiration sticker on the upper right corner. Overall I recommend this item and the price is certainly hard to beat.
