| This is one of the nicest original paintings I own. It was made by HENDRICUS JACOBUS BURGERS,a Dutch painter. This oil painting depicts a "girl gathering eggs", circa 1860's. I've tried to take pictures from all angles for you to see the fine features of this classic listed artist painting. There seems to be a scratch on the red skirt of the girl. Bio Dutch painter, master of the genre scene. H studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam and the Academy of Fine Arts and Technical Sciences in Rotterdam. Born in 1834, died 1899. Measurements: 25.5 x 17.5 inches. The painting will come WITHOUT the frame to save on postage. |
