After installing it, I saw that the handle was in the wrong position.
The product is as advertised. However, on my 20 year old Lane recliner, the holes in the square tube did not match the original tube. This caused the handle to be off by 90 degrees so it wouldn't fully open or close. This was fixed by drilling two new handle mounting holes on the square tube, so the handle fit correctly.

So glad to have made this purchase. We were using a screwdriver to work the lever; can’t believe for a small price, we were able to get a replacement lever. Was able to install within seconds, and now we have a fully functioning lever for our recliner chair!

Amazing
The product is a suitable fix, arrived intact and on time, and I got what I bargained for so no complaints with really. The metal tube quality is equal the the oem in my opinion, and should last my friend many more years. All I really needed was a bit of square tubing of this dimension to easily fabricate my own fix, but the catch 22 is that you have to buy a segment that is overpriced just enough to make me throw in the towel. All in all well worth putting your old chair back in service!
