This Has Become My Favorite Song Right Now Man!
I am a fan of Billie Elish and this is something I wanted for a long time. The DVD looks amazing with the green color, and it was completely new. The sound quality of the music is unaltered and I am happy about that. This has become my favorite song right now!

Happier Underwater
The sophomore slump doesn’t appear to have cured Billie Eilish as she releases the best pop album of the year so far. Pop has taken a hit this year as we’ve been served mediocre over and over again but, Eilish has come to save the day for her genre. The most striking difference between Happier Than Ever and her debut is that her vocals have improved and she seems to have taken a heavy dose of inspiration from Julie London in her style and delivery. Her voice seems to glide over the production easily and with more confidence. With London as an apparent muse, Eilish updates the traditional jazz vocal with her own signature approach. It is truly beautiful to hear. The production of Happier Than Ever is ambitious and well executed. The underwater texture of last year’s Everything I Wanted continues through a great deal of this album. Finneas truly knows how to accentuate the emotional under current of Billie’s emotional lyricism and match the mood of her vocals with a fresh and modern sensibility. I was impressed with the lyrical maturity that Eilish is gaining as she progresses forward in her career. Oxytocin in particular is impressive in it’s metaphor laden storytelling. Not My Responsibility, while not a repeatable listen, is honest, raw, vulnerable and exposes the general public’s interest in the fame game and how it has impacted Eilish since her rise to fame. It feels like a cross between Tori Amos’ confessional truth and Madonna’s fame commentary. The middle of the album slows and offers more of a contemplative, acoustic atmosphere before swinging into full gear again with NDA. It’s a bit jarring but, I feel like for the less adventurous listener, the middle would be considered sluggish. But, the beauty of Happier Than Ever really comes alive in the middle of the record. NDA violently shift back into familiar territory for Billie - plucking beats, soft spoken vocals and a pulsing chorus. Therefore I Am follows and is easily the most digestible track of this ambitious album. The highlight of the album is the title track. Feeling like a musical equivalent to a splatter painting, the song is split in two. Unassuming and clear, the first part is the first splats and splatters and then the second is when the artist just loses herself to abandon and lets it go. Easily a song that will become a classic in her catalog. A beautiful album that I would definitely recommend.

Happier Underwater
I'm just a tail end boomer who started out with Boston, The Who, Hendrix, Pink Floyd as my first vinyl purchases in the mid 70's. Now I'm all over the place on music, but I have very little pop. I was introduced to these two artists a couple years ago, overhearing them being played by my wife and daughter. I don't listen to the radio much anymore, so my journey into their first two albums was untainted by popular media. In my opinion the music that this duo have produced thus far stands outside of genres, it's really just great musical artistry! I tried not to have too many expectations with this new album from the duo, and I was blown away! Some familiar sounds and lots of awesome new ones, amazing soundscapes! The honesty from Billie continues to flow like a powerful river; she's such an impressive force against the industry that too often eats kids like her for breakfast. I'm so glad she's not only survived so much of that crap, but has managed to hang on to most of her sanity? Hang in there Billie! I was a bit sad to hear some of the words about the loss of joy in her art, that it can feel like a job or maybe she should change her carrier choice. The ever difficult path artists walk as they try to love their art but make money at it as well. I hope to see more amazing work from these two in the future. I'm grateful for what they have given us so far. I'm a big Foo Fighters fan, so when Dave commented that Billie reminded him of his Nirvana days, that validated a lot of my feelings about Billie and Finneas as well.

Billie Does It Again
Let’s be fair. It was going to be hard to top her first album, and at least so far, I don’t think she has. I’ve been thru the album once in a single sitting, and while the recording is outstanding and the vinyl gets an A- for the pressing, I just wasn’t blown away like I was the first time I heard the debut. It’s solid, and I’m glad I own it, and I’d certainly recommend it to fans. But there’s no When the Party’s Over (or pick your own favorite from the debut) that just instantly makes you shake your head and wonder what you just heard. She really got my attention with No Time to Die and Everything I Wanted, so when I bought the debut album (also on vinyl, of course) earlier this year, I’m pretty sure I was hearing those songs for the first time, as well. Again, stunned disbelief after the first side. How was that even possible? I was instantly hooked. If I started with Happier, and not heard anything else she had done, my reaction would be, “there’s unquestionable talent… let’s see where she takes it.” So listening to Happier after the previous works, my answer is… unquestionable talent… let’s keep our fingers crossed for what’s next.

Billie and Finneas! What an amazing album from these two!
I originally bought this CD for my 8 y.o, daughter but have since taken it over as my own. Billy Eilish is an immense talent in Songwriting and singing. I see her as the younger generation's Fiona Apple. I love Billie Eilish's voice and her lyrics are gorgeously written. There is profanity to watch for with the younger kids but it's more expressive than superfluous. Many of the songs have a soul feel to them but there are also those that are just great pop songs. The titular song of the album is my favorite, has a Norah Jones feel to it but also angst-ier than any Avril Lavigne song ever was and makes me long to be 16 again and heartbroken by some creep. Overall the album is catchy, dreamy, upbeat, sad, self-empowering and full of the songwriter's insights and lessons she's learned from falling in and out of love. It's a nice collection of songs and will give you a lot to talk about with your 10 y.o., let you mellow as you drive home from work, or help you embarrass yourself as you pull up to a stop light dancing and singing to the catchy song "Bad Guy" with all the energy of a teenage girl who is just realizing that you're gonna have to kiss a bunch of frogs in life and you prob won't ever find your prince.

Missing that magic
You can tell by listening to this work that She's "Happier Than Ever"! Every song is terrific and she has a very compelling voice. I'm so impressed with this disc, the best that Billie has ever done. I was hoping that the song "No Time to Die" would be on this disc, but it isn't. And, for the life of me I can't understand the initial reluctance on Daniel Craig's part for the song. Thank God that Barbara Broccoli convinced him otherwise and I hope it wins an Oscar for best song for 2021.

Great album!
The color is a little lighter than I expected from the pictures but is beautiful nonetheless. The sound is amazing and was very secure in the packaging when it arrived. My only complaint is that they’re out of stock and other people can’t buy their own! But I would recommend any way that you can get your hands on this record/album.

Her Best So Far
The only thing I didn’t like about the CD is that the first one I received was scratched/wouldn’t play. The replacement arrive crazy-fast & is perfect! I love every track on this album. It has something for everyone, from Billie’s angelic notes to beats & breathiness perfect for dancing. There’s even a growling/demonic-sounding noise at the beginning of one song that gets my dog’s attention every time; the sound that Billie replies “okay” to is I’m assuming a representation of her ex-bf, of which Billie’s evolution past the unhealthy & abusive relationship is what this album is all about. I love it so much, I bought it twice.

Amazing album and pressing
I listened once and was not sure of some songs. Listened about a hundred times since and. Just love this album. She has definitely began singing and writing from her perspective now and not characters she portrays which is something her fans like myself have to get used to, but I really appreciate the growth and artistry she put into the songs. Love It! Can't wait to listen again!

Couldn’t be happier
I'm a 68 year old man, who loves good music, from Bach to Zappa. I've followed her career from the beginning, and love all of it. The reason I call this album a masterpiece is because each track is a masterpiece. Her voice is stunnig, her lyrics are engaging, the melodies and the arrangements are stellar. On top of all this, she's very intelligent and genuine.

Happier Underwater
Honestly, I like this disc best of Billie's releases. Not gonna say it's a rocker, but solidly consistent and loaded with great earworms. Saw her on first tour in Mexico City, looking forward to excellent set in Las Vegas, and seriously looking forward to solo work by Fineas.

loaded with great earworms
I absolutely adore Billie Eilish and am so glad she has put her music on Cassette tape, vinyl, cd and digital. Nothing beats the nostalgia of vinyl and Cassette. Her voice is undoubtedly the most beautiful thing in the world. I also love that her career is family oriented and that she and Phinneas write her music. This young woman will be around for a long time and her music will be around for centuries to come. <3

This album is great. Love all the songs. Some serious lyrics but this is what music is all about. Billie has a unique voice and style which will serve her well and add a dimension to the music scene which is desperately needed.

Great album….
Billie Eilish is growing up, and it shows in her new blond glamour style and in this album of smooth songs that are less edgy than her previous album. I like both albums, but this one is more polished. I predict she'll be around for awhile.

Beautiful Album
Playing this cd on repeat. I will admit that I do love all her music. But this album is a lot more upbeat than her last. I have an older car and still love to play a CD in the car since where I live the satellite cuts out frequently.
