Nice flavour
I loved the coffee flavour. The perfect blend of red cherry and coffee with such an amazing aroma is amazing. The pack had 12 k cups and it is easy to brew in keurig brewer. I loved the coffee and it is also light roast.

Flawless Pods and Great Coffee
Pay no attention to the 1-Star reviews claiming broken pods. You'll notice not a single one backs up their claims with pictures. I'm guessing that's Starbucks employee reviews. LOL. I've bought this 75 ct box several times and they always arrive in perfect condition. If close enough to brewing your own Major Dickason's Blend to give it a 5-Star on flavor. So, order up with confidence. ***UPDATE FEB 16, 2020*** I just had my fourth box of these delivered and as you can see from the pictures, each and every pod in the box are perfect. Again, disregard any review to the contrary.

Flawless Pods and Great Coffee
ATTENTION! The Major has taken command of our household. Do you love the smell of coffee? I do, and I love a cup of dark rich coffee. Do you hate when you smell coffee brewing and it smells great, but the coffee has no flavor or tastes burnt? Me too (did we just become best friends?). I have had some great cups of coffee in my time (mostly in Europe), and I have tried every method of duplicating that at home without much success. Peets coffee (in any form, bag or K cup) always delivers a great cup of coffee that does not taste bitter or burnt (over roasted) and tastes like it smells when brewing. For me, the Major Dickason's is a perfect cup of coffee. I am signed up for monthly delivery and one case lasts about a month at our house. I serve this coffee to our guests and everyone asks what it is. From the Folgers drinkers to the Kopi Luwak (cat poop coffee - look it up) drinkers, they all like the Major. Order the Major before he orders you. At ease!

Perfect balance of flavor and strength. Tastes like coffee smells
I buy the large 72 K-Cup carton about once a month and love the bold taste and performance of these Peet's capsules. They appear to be much improved from the Major D. capsules I tried a couple years ago that would actually burst and leak in my machine at random. What a mess to clean up! This appeared to have been common at the time. But they seem to have gotten their act together and made the necessary adjustments because I haven't had one problem in any of the thirteen 72-pack cartons I've purchased over the last year. How to describe the taste, I'd stay bold, full body, without any bitter after taste common in the French roast variety. I also surmise that it's low acid as I never have any stomach issues even after drinking two or three cups. The only problem with this coffee is that it will spoil you when you're out on the town or traveling and can't find anything like it. The closest thing for me is a double shot Americano made with good espresso beans. For trips, I ended up purchasing a small single-serving K-Cup brewer so I can continue my Major Dickason's addiction on the road. So yes, I highly recommend this product. But, if you chose to buy another blend, you're just leaving more for me, thanks!

Former Peet’s employee here. If you buy Peet’s K-cups, you’re throwing money in the garbage by not getting them here or at Costco (approximately the same price at any given time). In fact, at this price and because Peet’s has gutted their employee discount, this comes out to be cheaper (ditto the 32 oz. bags of beans.) Weird changes such as lowering the discount, or the Mighty Leaf integration have happened at Peet’s since being purchased six or seven years ago by a German private equity firm. The one thing that hasn’t budged an inch is the quality of the coffee itself. Peet’s meticulously only leaves product on the shelves for 90 days to ensure freshness, and check next time you’re at the store: their K-cups have more actual coffee per cup than most other brands, which is perfect for folks like me who enjoy drinking a cup or two of ink every morning. This is five-star coffee at a five-star price.

Cheaper than the employee discount
I saw a lot of comments on the Starbucks dark roast coffee listings asking if the Starbucks dark roasts were anywhere as good as reviewers' beloved Peets Major Dickason's Blend. I've been using Starbucks dark roast varieties lately and I ordered Peets Major Dickason's Blend as a comparison (maybe it's better, or at least beloved by reviewers?). Peets is fine. It's enjoyable as black coffee. It's not acidic (like..gag..McDonalds), but it's not particularly bold. It doesn't really have coffee aroma while brewing. I would compare it to Starbucks Pike Place roast. I like a bolder black coffee, which I get from Starbucks Verona and Starbucks Sumatra coffee. My wife calls those bitter, but I call them strong dark roasts. UPDATE: The Peets Major Dickason's Blend is much better when brewed only 10oz. or 8oz. instead of 12oz. cup. Maybe there is not enough coffee inside each K-cup to brew a good 12oz. cup. It's much more enjoyable as a 10oz. brew.

Used my snap EBT benifit to purchase
If you have to drink Keurig coffee, these are the absolute best pods for your dollar. Had we never tried Nespresso, we’d still be drinking these. We’ve had them on subscribe and save for quite awhile. If our now beloved Nespresso machine is ever on the blink, we’ll reach for Pete’s pods while it’s being repaired. They’re the only non watery Keurig pods and a far better coffee shop than Starbucks when you can find them.

Fine for black coffee, not equal to Starbucks Verona or Sumatra, similar to Pike Place
Excellent dark roast blend: great taste, never weak nor bitter (I'm a dark coffee lover) and this is the best price I could find anywhere. It's no coincidence that Peet's Major Dickason's Blend has the most coffee per k-cup of any major brand I could find (the net weight should be included on the box, either as net weight per k-cup or as total net weight. For total net weight, divide total net weight by # k-cups per box). Peet's Major Dickason's Blend = 0.47 oz per k-cup; Starbucks Sumatra = 0.42 oz per k-cup; many other name brands are well below 0.40 oz per k-cup. The cheap-o coffee brands and flavored coffees are about 0.30 oz per cup and usually taste bland and watered down.

Flawless Pods and Great Coffee
I was using a Dolce Gusto Genio 2 machine for the last year (loved it) until I couldn't get the pods for it consistently. I bought the Keurig Supreme Plus Multistream machine along with a couple of sampler packs of coffee last week. Most of the coffee in the pack tasted awful, so I thought it was a fluke that the Peets sample was so good (I started thinking my machine was making this horrible coffee). I bought the Peets Major Dickinson's blend and BINGO, my coffee this morning was amazing. I love a dark roast that reminds me of eating dark chocolate, and this is it.

I started to think my Keurig coffee makes terrible coffee, then I got Peets.
I was never a coffee drinker until I turned 52. I would have your normal coffee drinks at local shops, but never a daily drinker. Then I discovered Peets. Well, hold your horse because now as my husbands describes me, as I am a coffee snob, because I will only drink Peets. The flavor is bold and smooth. Perfectly ground and always refreshing. I had to buy me a single Keurig to travel with so I always have Peets with me wherever I go, because nothing even compares to this brand. I am hoping one day that the pods become recyclable though. Currently I take the pods apart and dump the grounds out and put them in my compost. Roses love coffee grounds. Try this bold flavor you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous
Bought these to use for the Keurig at work, because although they've supplied one, the company is too cheap to stock K cups. Instead they've opted for some ?? weak off-brand Kona blend that requires a whole package for just a half pot of coffee. It's swill. Evidenced by the fact that I seem to be the only one who will make OR drink it. Well, no more. I've tried numerous blends from the other guys, but I found this particular one to be the most satisfying, both in strength and flavor. I guess the Major knows a thing or two about his coffee. Will be buying again, and keeping these things locked away like gold - because that's how good these are.

Great tasting coffee.
Forever, we purchased this at Sams Club but then sometimes Sams doesn't have it. Today, the price is the same as Sams Club pricing. Trust me, we've been buying this coffee for years and there is no better price out there. If you prefer a nice deep and rich coffee, this is your Joe. Doesn't taste burnt or bitter, just really smooth flavor but you know your drinking coffee for sure. Whenever we serve it, we are always asked, what brand is this. I am a real Starbucks fan, still today when out and about but not only is this as tasty and satisfying as SB, its here, cheaper and more convenient. So, I would say if you don't like Starbucks coffee, you probably would want to pass on this coffee.

Not Cheap, but really good coffee for a K-cup blend
We've gone through four 75 count boxes so far, and the flavor has been consistently good. It's k-cup coffee, so don't expect it to be as good as something from your local coffee shop. That said, for a k-cup it's pretty darn tasty. These are on our monthly subscribe-and-save, one box per month. Update: About a dozen boxes later and these are still consistently tasty. Still at one box per month (75 k-cups) for two coffee drinkers.

Great, rich coffee at a really good price
What to say? First off I must admit than I am not a coffee aficionado but I do like coffee. I've tried several brands with our Keurig machine and have definitely settled for the Peet's dark roast, Major Dickason's Blend. Since I use a creamer, real coffee lovers would probably disregard what I would say, however, I have been using this blend for almost a year now and enjoy the brews. I would definitely say this dark roast is worth a try. I also use the Peet's decaf for an evening brew.
