Description

ClutchXperts Stage 3 Racing Clutch Kit is a brand new heavy duty racing pressure plate with 6 puck sprung racing disc setup can hold up to 385HP and 367lb-ft Torque and 70% more pressure increase over stock. The ClutchXperts Stage 3 racing clutch system uses ClutchXperts Stage 3 Heavy duty pressure plate with 6 puck sprung ceramic miba disc. This is ultimate extreme-duty street or road / drag racing system. It is built using a special 6-wing ceramic button design disc for long life, outstanding holding capacity and high heat dissipation.


All ClutchXperts Racing pressure plates are made from ductile iron (2100 LBS CLAMPING LOAD) which is about 60-70% stronger than conventional cast iron pressure plates other racing clutch manufactures use. It is recommended for use with 'modified' vehicles used for "street and strip". This unit has also proven itself to be very capable for four wheel drive and off-road use, also heavy duty towing and commercial applications.

It offers 90% more holding capacity than a stock 'OEM' clutch while maintaining a stock pedal feel.

No surprises, just a sound product.
This product looked quality. I put this on a 13hp 420cc predator motor. I high a gear to match its load capacity. It did worked great untill my fatty friend 320bls burnt it up. I also tested on 8hp engine. It worked fine. I have met many friends to put the clutch into their clutch. But it slipped or smoked. A prerequisite for reduction ratio must be designed when refitting. My 8hp engine was with a gear ratio of 14 or 65. It didn’t slip. With the weight and wheels different, the ratio is different. It depends. If you want to oil the clutch. Don’t put oil inside the clutch. The hole on the drum are to let the hot air out of the clutch. When oil gets in the drum portion of the clutch, it will cause excessive slippage, which means undue heat will be generated. First take off the snap ring here on top, and then I put a little bit oil on my finger and rub it on the bushing. Hope this help.
