| This gorgeous teapot is marked "Silver on Copper" on the bottom along with three hallmarks. The first one is a crown and the third one looks like a shield. I'm not sure what the center mark image is. (See last photo above.) This teapot has three feet and a hinged lid. It has a classic round squat shape with Victorian embellishments on the spout, handle and feet. It stands about 8-1/4" tall and from spout to handle measures about 8-3/4". At about 2 lbs. 4 ozs., it is quite heavy and solid for its size. This teapot is tarnished but shows very little signs of use. There are a couple of tiny blemishes (too small for my camera to pick up) but overall, it looks to be in excellent condition for its age. I will leave final polishing to the buyer's discretion. This teapot will be carefully packed for shipping. Please message me with any questions. |
