Loved and adored Ben and Gemma
Ben Tate and Gemma Charles are an enthralling, page-turning, witty attorney duo who can sizzle it up in and out of the office. I wasn't sure what kind of woman could capture Ben's attention from what I knew of him in the previous two books. One thing was for certain, Ben is a sharp and intelligent man, he sees everything with razor perception, so this person would have to keep him on his toes. And behold, this is where Gemma comes in. They have been working at the same law firm and Gemma's shark-like instincts has her in line to be partner someday soon hopefully. Coupled with her ambition and intellect, Gemma is a force to be reckoned with. The dialogue between Ben and Gemma is pure gold entertainment. Underneath Gemma's predator exterior is a very vulnerable woman who trusts no one. She has her own hopes and dreams that she has set aside, along with previous setbacks that keep her setting her sights on partnership, if for any reason other than to represent an empowered woman in leadership in a male dominated field. She knows the competition and the lay of the land and while it's not fair, she is fierce and determined. Even if she has to work with Ben, Gemma isn't going to let him get in the way of her goals. I loved Gemma's internal monologue. She is hilarious and sarcastic, but she also has yearnings for something simpler. Ben has yet to crack past her shield, and in the meantime, they duel with words until he can finally gain the upper hand to sway things his way. These two have fantastic chemistry, heated discussions and high octane sexual tension that lead to steamy exchanges. When the walls come down, I loved that version of Gemma and Ben the best because Ben manages to find the way directly into Gemma's heart that renders her speechless. Having loved all of the other previous books in this series, this one is another fantastic addition and new favorite that doesn't disappoint.

Elizabeth O’Roark delivers a blisteringly hot enemies-to-lovers romance that is full of laughs, feels, and epic chemistry. A super sexy, swoony, and entertaining work-place romance that kept me riveted from beginning to end, I loved Ben and Gemma’s story. One thing I love about this author’s books is that she gives us the perfect mix of humour and angst but also gives us a story and characters with great depth. She hits all your emotions when you’re reading her books, and The Devil You Know was no exception. Ben and Gemma are mortals enemies but they have AMAZING chemistry. Their banter had me cracking up at times. These two were straight up fire and you can feel the tension between them. They seriously get off on antagonising each other, and it was so much fun watching them rile each other up only to literally bang out their frustrations. But no matter how hostile they are towards each other, their chemistry and pent-up lust were impossible to suppress. Their banter was epic and their sexy encounters were hot as hell. I couldn’t get enough of them! Witnessing their relantionship development was an amazing experience and I swooned so hard when they shared tender and vulnerable moments. I love Elizabeth O’Roark’s simple and seemingly effortless prose. Her romances are always a pleasure to read, and she never fails to wow me every single time. Ben and Gemma were amazing, and I adored them. They were so incredibly special, and I loved watching their story unfold. Ben and Gemma’s romantic journey definitely wasn’t easy, but everything was totally worth it in the end and I was ecstatic with the conclusion. This story is funny, sexy and heartwarming. Elizabeth brought her A game in The Devil You Know and I couldn’t put this book down.

Loved and adored Ben and Gemma
Just when I think she’s given us the very best enemies to lovers romance ever, O'Roark comes up with this amazing story! She’s probably sitting back, enjoying a glass of wine, and chuckling, thinking “Just you wait and see.” Office romances aren’t necessarily my favorite, but anything O'Roark definitely is. This is an author who has proved her mastery over her craft time and again, and one I'll follow on any reading adventure. Gemma Charles works harder than probably anyone at Fields, McGovern and Geiger Attorneys at Law. She's focused and driven, and determined to be the firm's first ever female partner. It’s definitely a cutthroat environment, and she gets no help from her colleagues. Especially attorney Ben Tate. One time of him stealing her client is all it takes for her undying hatred of Ben to sink its claws into her heart. Ben certainly seems like the kind of guy to walk over anyone to get what he wants. When he and Gemma have to work together on a case, we see the many layers of Ben slowly peeled back and realize there’s so much more to this guy than we ever imagined. This story was so much freaking fun! From the snarky banter and the steamy sexy times to all the feels Ben and Gemma's journey evokes. Insecurities, misunderstandings and disappointments abound, but, in the end, love wins in a gloriously spectacular way! Run, right now, to the 1-Click and start reading this fun, phenomenal read today. Your romantic heart will thank you.

A blistering hot enemies to lovers workplace romance. Unputdownable!
An enemies to lovers romance, the banter had me laughing out loud many times. The chemistry is palpable and Ben and Gemma are fantastic relatable characters. Gemma especially, with her past, becomes a very sympathetic character but she is also strong, giving as good as she gets. She makes jumps to conclusions a bit too often but these issues are resolved quickly and well. And Ben, with his support and love, really made this book a pleasure to read. There were a few themes about equality (Gemma, a lawyer, is trying to make partner in a male dominated company) and both ben and Gemma aim to do right with their cases and the people they are fighting for. My only wish was that we had Ben’s point of view sometimes. Overall, a great story that I really enjoyed. Hoping the next one comes soon!!

Epic Enemies to Lovers Romance!
Gemma is one one singular goal - to make partner in her firm. She's sick of the all boys club and is willing to put in her time until she makes partner. Except this time she has to put in time with the one partner that annoys her the most - Ben Tate. Ben the person who stole her client as soon as he came on with the firm, the one who is constantly teasing her and pushing all her buttons. But the more time they spend together the harder it is to ignore their growing attraction. Will Gemma be able to prove that she's willing to make partner at the firm and have a relationship with Ben? Gah, how I loved The Devil You Know. After getting glimpses of Ben in the previous books in this series I was so excited to finally get his story. But I have to be honest - I totally fell in love with Gemma. Gemma who's prickly on the outside, but soft and gooey on the inside. Gemma who has been burned so many times before that she doesn't know who to trust and definitely not sure if she can trust the one person she wants to trust the most - Ben. These two had so much chemistry together and I loved every single moment they had together. The banter was exceptional and there was SO MUCH ANGST. The angst had butterflies in my stomach and tears streaming down my face. I've already read and re-read my favorite parts. I highly recommend this entire series and this book was exceptional. If you're looking for a forced proximity, workplace enemies to lovers romance I highly recommend The Devil You Know. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
