MAUI SWEET ONION. Maybe the sweetest onion ever! Very high sugar content.To get a really, really sweet onion, the soil has to have a very low sulphur content. The sulphur is what causes the strong onion flavor and the tears in or eyes. For a Fall planting, Sow directly into the garden, and keep the seed bed moist after germination for a few weeks to give them a good start. For a Spring planting - Start seeds indoors about 12 weeks before your last frost. Plant the seedlings into your garden about 4" apart when night temps stay above 60F. Harvest at the end of summer after the tops have fallen over. The Maui onion doesn't do long term storage like some onions, but they will stay fresh in your fridge for a few months without any problem. Easy and fun to grow. Sweet onions
It was really fun to grow my own onion in my garden. I received around 200 seeds of sweet onion and all of them germinated pretty well within a 14 to 15 days. The quality of the seeds is very amazing as they bore such sweet onions. I love taking fresh onion from the garden and then using it in my kitchen. These do not make my eyes fill with tears as these have low sulphur content.

The seeds were of great quality. They were all in a healthy condition. The onions are of high sugar and water content, so it is widely used as a sweet onion in food industries. The seeds are rare and required low Sulphur soil. My seeds grew in a week and got healthy saplings.

Seeds bloomed!
These seeds were healthy. These were easy-to-grow as they are perennial and a great herbaceous ground cover, which is low-growing, creeping, very dense, and mat-like. Following the instructions for germination, I got results in a few days. As soon as they started blooming, my backyard looked like a cover of snow giving such a beautiful sight to behold.

Fresh and good quality seeds

These Are Really Nice Tasting Sweet Onions!
These were about almost 200 seeds of these amazing Vidalia sweet onion seeds. These were purely fresh and were ready to grow, so I planted them swiftly. I used to put some fertilizers for these to grow properly. And trust me almost all of them germinated well before time. And the fruits have already started budding. I am waiting for these sweet onions too much!

This is my best purchase
I so wanted to try this sweet onion so instead of asking my friend for it, I ordered the seeds myself and started growing this plant.
