These are Incredible!!!!!!
I never write reviews unless there is something very important consumers need to know, be it good or bad. This product is outstanding. I had bleeding from my hemorrhoids for over 30 days. Used TWO of these and the bleeding stopped. Yes they are a bit oily, but that is expected. These are the best for getting rid of hemorrhoids which I have had my whole life. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

...Said I in the days before using Boiron Avenoc ointment! My hemmies were bleeding so much I practically needed a blood transfusion after every bowel movement! I had been using the Preparation H cream but I am sensitive to the phenylephrine so I was using it sparingly. Even so, it wasn't doing much. (It never occurred to me to look for a natural hemorrhoid ointment.) So I finally did a search one night for a natural treatment. I found one that got good reviews but it was made in China and I wanted to try to find a natural product made in the USA. Then I found the Boiron and learned that it is made in America. After one application of this stuff, I noticed a difference! Things were not as tender down there and the bleeding was scant--with one application!! Now a week later, of applying it 3x a day, I can say, things are much better. Bleeding and tenderness are practically gone--after literally years of struggling with this problem! I just figured there were no other products except Prep H for hemorrhoids. I believe what makes this so much more effective (at least for me) than the Prep H is that it's a thick ointment and not a thin cream. The Prep H goes on so wet that as soon as you sit down once, it all comes off on your underwear. But this stuff is thick and stays on the afflicted area for much longer, working its healing magic. I also got the Boiron suppositories because things were so bad but I didn't even need to use them due to the quick and dramatic healing! Give this stuff a try if you are plagued with the scourge of hemorrhoidal misery!

You'll like these, if you have an occasional flare-up of the dreaded H's. They do soothe and comfort, and I am pretty sure they are organic. All kidding aside, though, having H's is no laughing matter. It's a b____ to get old, isn't it?!!! So, may advice: drink lots of water and eat lots of fibrous foods and/or take a fiber supplement, and if things get too bad, go see Dr. Buttsky. Try these, they are good for the butt. Tx. //d

Oh, my achin' hemmies!!
I'd been suffering from bleeding hemorrhoids for several months before I tried this suppository. I'd already been using "standard" hemorrhoid suppositories (Phenylephrine HCl 0.25%), and made significant changes to my diet. I would see temporary improvement, but just when I thought I was getting better, I started bleeding again. I just about cried. A family member then told me about this product, so I decided to give it a try before heading to the doctor. First off, before insertion, this suppository is STINKY. Absolutely heinous. I don't know what's up with that. Secondly, it has serious... presentation issues, shall we say. Of the 3 packs I've ordered, at least 2 arrived with a very dried appearance (I haven't opened the 3rd yet). As others have mentioned, the "point" of the item is too big, and there are some SHARP edges on the tail end, which is extremely bizarre. I recommend applying petroleum jelly generously on both ends of the suppository before inserting, and this should allow you to use it with minimal issues. However, these are problems the manufacturer needs to fix ASAP. As for the medication itself: after just 1-2 days of using this, my bleeding had stopped and I felt significantly better. I'd had false hope before with previous suppositories, so I continued to use it for a week or so, just to be on the safe side. I also maintained a strict diet, drinking more liquids and eating whole-wheat bread, potatoes, and other sources of INSOLUBLE fiber (the right kind of fiber is really, really important). It's now been nearly a month - my first long streak of no bleeding. The pain is practically gone, and while I'm still battling constipation, I can eat more normally now. I'm no longer scared of going to the bathroom (don't laugh, it's a thing). It feels like I got a big part of my life back! I would strongly recommend this medication in spite of its flaws. I'm keeping some on hand just in case I have any future flare-ups. If they fix the shape/sharpness problem, I would bump up my rating to 5 stars (yes, even with the smell).

BUTT...
I developed a horrible hemorrhoid while pregnant with my son. It was so bad I had to call into work 2 days in a row and could barely sleep through the pain. I was in tears for pretty much the entirety of those 2 days. These suppositories, (along with Dr Butler's hemorrhoid cream and taking epsom salt baths), were a godsend and made the pain go away fast. I bought extra of these and that cream just to have on hand if they ever come back that horribly again!

Smells like a skunk from Hades... still a MUST-TRY
I had a hemorrhoid that has been there but mostly inside for a couple years. Every once and a while it acts up. Especially if I have a cough with a cold... But anyway, I tried the prep h suppositories and they semi helped along with tucks wipes, and I wasn’t getting much relief. Then I ordered these, one time I tried them, and it made it go down by half the size. Gross, I know, but most of us have them, even if you’ve never had kids, genetics unfortunately!! But with that one I used, I haven’t had any problems and I’ve been more regular with my bowel movements, much softer and these helped with that as well. Ditch the prep h, they don’t do anything. Get these, and even tho the damn hemmrohoids will always be there, at least if you get your diet better, more fiber, and drink at least 60 oz of water per day, take enzymes as well, you should be in better shape. Diet plays a huge role in these pesky things....

work very well. prefer this homeopathic product to medicinal ones. I have internal hemorrhoids so can be difficult to manage and are very uncomfortable. these work well to help the inflammation

Wow, these are amazing! Toward the end of pregnancy I developed painful hemorrhoids. I tried the name brand maximum strength cream for four days with some relief but still in pain. After one treatment of these suppositories I feel SO much better! Took almost all pain away in less than 12 hours. It does feel a little awkward to put in but the shape of them just kind of slides in once you get it started and then you feel nothing. Heads up ladies- I was never constipated this entire pregnancy -there’s just so much pressure toward the end- and a friend told me to still have hemorrhoid treatments on hand regardless, I should have listened!

Love this stuff!
These worked well especially the first 3 times. BUT- they are oily, sometimes (sorry) the oil leaks. Even after going to the bathroom in the morning. I can only use on weekends.

Gave some relief
I tried everything to cute a chronic anal fissure including a fissurectomy. Nothing worked. Spoke to a Naturopathic doctor who recommended these. I was reluctant to try because of pain but I was desperate. I agree with other reviews that said they are difficult to insert (you will likely need someone else to help) and the oily and sometimes noisy discharge. But use them at night with a panty liner and you'll be fine. They are worth it!

Wonderful Relief for Hemorrhoid Issues!
This is nice and soothing and long lasting, unlike some other creams that actually burn (Is it sadism that causes one to make a hemorrhoid cream that burns?)!

Finally relief from anal fissure
These are the best supposutories that I tried. They stopped my bleeding within one day. The only problem is that they are a little thick, so it's more uncomfortable to apply them.
