Pretty long and has extra plastic coating

This connection cable wire is better than the one I got with device. This is pretty long, also the quality of wire is really really good. I am using this connection wire since last 5 days, and the device is working as normal as it was working with the original connection cable.

I purchased this extension USB cable for use with a hard drive and Y splitter to give the hard drive power from an AC/USB adapter. The Y cable wasn't long enough to reach the power outlet, so I added this extension cable to the connection and now it does! It works perfectly for power. Note that this is a USB 2.0 cable, and not a newer USB 3.0 cable, so if you have a USB 3.0 hard drive or connector and want to transmit data with it, pay extra for a 3.0 cable that will give you faster data transmission speeds. If you just need it for power like I did, this cable works perfectly and at a great price! Overall, I didn't find any flaws with the product and recommend it to anyone who needs a little more length to their 2.0 USB cable. 5/5 stars. great cheap usb extension cord. nothing more, nothing less. A great price and they perform very well. no complaints. I bout 4 of these. 2 for my wired mouse and keyboard on one computer that is far from the main computer case. I also bought one for my wife's wireless mouse dongle as the connection was spotty and the mouse was glitchy. I taped this extension cord to the top of the desk and inserted the dongle (now closer to the mouse) and the problem is now fixed. I used the last one to connect an old usb hard drive for back up purposes. I am very happy with these. I just wish I purchased a few more as I now need 2-3 more and others want them too so I could use them for gifts. I highly recommend and I plan on purchasing more again.

great for exctending your usb wired items.

I mounted my RING Keypad in a closet and ran the USB for power through a drilled hole in the floor into its powerwart plugged into an outlet below. Thus this extension let me reach the power. So this may help other such people needing to reach a power outlet. However, the RING keypad is not supposed to be plugged in all the time. Once charged you unplug it. So this cable was actually unnecessary. i thought it had to be plugged in all the time.But it is a nice cable.

Nice well made cable

I've been using these extenders for about 5 years now and the only one that doesn't work anymore is the one my dog chewed apart. This is my third time buying them and the only reason I need new ones is because I keep losing them. I use them with my phone chargers and PlayStation controllers. I started using them with an Apple charger after always getting the "accessory not compatible" message after a couple of months with off-brand chargers. My phone hasn't given me the message side and I've even started using off brand chargers again. Absolutely recommend these. They are life changers

Forget Batteries, Get This and Extend The Life of Your Wireless Controllers

Since my computer is not Bluetooth compatible, I needed a longer wire than the one provided with my crafting device. This worked great so that I could use my equipment from a table far from my computer. Connected my silhouette cameo 4 to my desktop computer with no connection issues whatsoever. The material seems sturdy and reliable. Perfect for when you need a longer cable to connect devices.

Not a single conplaint

Its not a very high quality cable. It probably wont last very long. But for the price and for the function, it works fine. If you never touch it after setting it up with whatever you're doing, it probably will last a long time. But if you're unplugging and plugging in often, or the cable is moving a bunch, adjust your expectations. This isn't some copper-coated nylon braided, reinforced cable!

I have a mini USB keyboard I like to use with my PC setup, but because of (I believe) interference and too far of distance between the mini-keyboard and the dongle(connected to the back of my PC), I then don't get a good connection. This male to female USB extension sure closes up the gap; and now I get a better connection with no issue. Thanks

Does what it's supposed to...

I use external storage (USBs and external hard drives) and update electronics frequently with my computer. My computer is located underneath my desk and this cord has been a boon for me. Rather than having to crawl underneath my desk and plug these devices into my computer; I've set this cable up to run through a small slit in my desk and give me a handy USB connection near my keyboard. I purchased this cord in 2015. Three years later: My computer, external hard drives, and electronics have been upgraded, but this cord still remains. It has withstood the test of time and I highly recommend it! -Eb

Works on my tv

We wall mounted our 58 inch TV in our living room, and needed to extend power to our fire stick. We only had 3/4 of an inch between drywall and the block outside wall. This cable was easy to pull down during the fishing process, and has worked great ever since.

Works well

We needed extensions for existing USB cables (mouse, keyboard, Wi-FI antenna) when we moved into our new house & were setting up our home office. We purchased a pair of oak desks with matching hutches, but this placed the tower just a foot or two further away from those items. These extensions work perfectly. Appear to be well made. We do not see the need to spend more than we have to.

Useful for Phones & Controllers

I got tired of constantly buying expensive extra-long microUSB so I can use and charge my phone in bed. Got this instead and use it with shorter microUSB cables that are much much cheaper. I think this is a great alternative to buying extralong microUSB cables as you can buy shorter cables that can be used as double duty for connecting to your computer or as cables for external batteries. The usb connections are very firm so you don't need to worry about it pulling out, your phone connection will pull out before the USB connection. This is also very useful for routing to a desktop that's not accessible easily from your desk seat, what I do is run this cable behind my desk and up and under my keyboard to use with thumb drives without occupying one of my 2 front USB ports (which are occupied by receivers for keyboard and mice)

When you have to long

Yes folks I still have a desktop computer. My monitor took a dive so I use a tv and I need longer mouse and keyboard cords. I didn't want to "upgrade" to wireless mouse etc when mine are perfectly functional. The connectors seen durable and do exactly what I need them to do for a great price.
