Disney doesn't quite hit the mark
The media could not be loaded. He's pretty much a perfect version of The Child. Soft body with vinyl head, hands, and feet. The sounds are clear and easily heard. I like that the little hairs on his head are painted on rather than actual hairs, as it keeps him looking babyish. The only thing I would love to see is a way for him to actually hold his little soup bowl.

Perfect little "Baby Yoda" toy
I absolutely love my baby yoda. I would give it 5 stars all the way but there are some note worthy details that the buyer should know. For one, it HEAVILY smells of plastic, I get that plastic toys like this will always have a plastic smell, but for some reason this smell seems a bit over powering and I’ve had him for about a week and the smell has not died down. And secondly, the item itself does not come in an enclosed box, so my little guy had some scuff marks on his eyebrow from the ride, and in times like COVID19, has me a little worried that it could have potentially been exposed. Where as if it was in a plastic box, contaminates have less of chance of getting on the toy since the box would be quickly disposed of.

Good for original price of only $25.
This cute little bugger arrived today! He was immediately my new best friend during isolation. The Child looks SO MUCH BETTER in person. I mean, he is definitely kawaii. Beyond cute. His expression was a good choice. Somewhat neutral yet pleasing. I can’t help but smile when I look at him. Material of head and extremities is durable yet soft to the touch. Fine little hairs are painted on his head, which works for me. I think hair stitched in would have looked a little creepy. The orientations they chose for the hands are great. He’s capable of holding both accessories...but there’s a “but” I’ll get to in a sec. The hands, along with the hairs, painted eyes, and of course all of his vocal coos give this guy A LOT of expression. It’s almost like he comes alive when I’m not looking. Now to the “buts” that kept me from giving it 5 stars: As to those hands, I wish they were posable so you make him pose in more lifelike positions or let him hold the broth bowl he comes with to his mouth (my favorite). Same with the frog. As I briefly mentioned above, the eyes are painted. If they were doll eyes or painted marbles, it would make him so much more life-like. As if he’d jump out of his pod at any moment. He’s already a great addition to my collection and he’ll certainly help bring me some calm during these stressful times. The Force is strong in him.

Beyond Expectations!!!
My 9 year old son LOVES it. I am so glad I preordered this. I paid 26.99 after tax. Seeing the price now. Wow. But its adorable. It has sounds that are cute and give him a more baby like quality. It's a hard head, hands and feet but the rest is soft. torso where the button is all soft. Like it's a stuffed animal with hard attached hands, feet and head. But for what I paid its perfect. What you see in the pictures are what you get. So glad it came earlier than what it said it made it on time for his birthday. I can not say I would pay the 48 without tax I see it for now. You really have to want it I suppose. And if you are going to keep it in package for safety he is literally all out in the open be ready to stick that big ol box in a case.

Awesome!!
The media could not be loaded. He’s adorable! The quality seems decent for the price and I really like the head mold. He reminds me a cabbage patch doll I had as a child with the soft body and hard head. Also emphasis on adorable. He can hold both items that he comes with. Another reviewer claimed he could not so I took a video to show. The frog like creature can be held I in either hand but the bowl only fits in the left hand. He doesn’t stand freely but he can be leaned against something easily. His noise box comes out, but it doesn’t turn on and off. Some toys feel empty without their noise boxes but he still feel plenty cuddly. If you’re giving him to a young kid I would consider removing the noise box! His clothing does come off but not easily and his outfit was caught or maybe glued to his neck in one spot- I don’t think this was intentional? The joining of his head to his neck isn’t the neatest, but it seems solid. I think it’d be fun to make him some DIY outfits. I also don’t understand the complaints that he looks like Yoda- he looks like The Child, not 100% identical but pretty close. Of course “baby yoda” looks like adult yoda... hence the moniker!

He is cute and my son (9) loves it
So glad I pre-ordered this last fall (the cost now is a little steep!!!). For the $25 I spent, it's TOTALLY worth it!!!! The noises it makes are just too much! <3 <3 <3 He's going to have a place of honor in my Baby Yoda area of my office at work :D

Love him!
When I first got this I was sooo excited. I couldn't believe how adorable he was. I however would come to realize that he wasn't as adorable as I thought. I placed him next to my fish tank as the lighting worked well with him, this is where it all started to go wrong. Over the first week I noticed a couple of my fish missing. I checked the filters and the back of tank and nothing, i was stumped. Eventually they were all gone. I thought this cant be. I asked The Child if he knew what had happened and this little alien started to force choke me! I think i got a Sith Lord.

Disney doesn't quite hit the mark
I will admit that was just a bit disappointed upon first impressions. While it is closely designed to The Child on the series, it is a bit thinner in the face. I think it is missing a bit of "chubbiness" and the chin needs to be a bit more recessed; more baby-like. Having a bigger cloak might have helped the illusion of baby "chubs", making it more adorable. Not all is that bad. The skin color, the painted eyes, tones, and plastic quality are perfect. The cloth cloak is well made (still should have been bigger). The doll also features sound effects when the chest is pressed and they're well done and loud. It also comes with a alien frog and a small bowl. Overall, I am not impressed. However, being a fan of the show, I am still happy I have it. I still think this may be the best collective available at the moment, which is why I gave it an additional star.

Cute but a little tiny
Though like probably many others I am not a Star Wars collector, I knew myself well enough to know I would eventually cave and get one of these, all the while knowing I am fully conscious of the giant engines of consumer culture that fuel this media conglomerate. Well, somebody in some other galaxy far, far away said, "Resistance is futile." So I thought about it, read You Tube reviews of various versions and ended up choosing this little guy. The price is reasonable, I don't need animatronics, he does babble a little, and he's a good size to fit in among my vinyl friends from way back in the 60's, the Dam troll dolls (plus his ears are even bigger than theirs!) He has painted, not inset eyes, which are not a flat black but distinguish the pupil from the dark iris around it. Then they show a tiny bit of white at the very edges. So I find it a very expressive eye. Some people did not like his little "Yoda head" hairs being painted on, but I kind of like that they are there. NIce pink shading in the inner ears too. I like that he has feet too, but he doesn't always stand up well on them. I am hoping I can run across some one on You Tube showing how they customized wire armatures for his legs. So except for that one point there, I am a totally happy Child/Baby Yoda fan.

Not as cute as the actual Child but cute enough.
For the record, my daughter does not like dolls. She finds all baby dolls creepy, but she LOVES "Baby Yoda". She carries it everywhere. She tucks it in at night. This exceeded our expectations and was a great surprise when it shipped. Worth the wait! ( We ordered it in December).

Sweet Child!
At the preorder price, the little guy is an awesome toy! If you’re a collector, the shipping packing used for mine provided minimal protection. The “talking” box appears to be generic baby noises and provides no sense of connection to the television series. I removed it, which was very easy. The mouth looks more like Yoda than I’d like. The quality of the clothing and figure pieces are at or above the quality I would expect. Seems likely to be durable. It feels like it may be easy to add a wire frame internally, allowing for more poseability for display. I’m really glad I got this!

5 year old daughter LOVES THIS!
Sweet toy and beautiful quality! Meticulous attention to detail, even the eyes are painted to perfection but real doll eyes would be better. Head, hands and feet are rather hard and stiff. Pointy ears could easily do a eyepoke. I think the audio box is a little quiet, could be the batteries. Mine came with scuff marks on its head too but isopropyl alcohol removes them very well. My Lady friend loves this Baby Yoda, she really needed something to cheer her up and this did the trick! Great gift.

Impressive Quality
I preordered three of these for my two daughters and 53 year-old fiance. He loves all things Star Wars. My 26 year old and I couldn't decide if the child or gizmo from Gremlins was cuter. Pretty much a toss up on that one. My 27 year old loves hers as well. I don't know much about Star Wars but this toy is soft, easy to hold.. the place you press your fingers to make the noises is easy to press down on if that is a concern of yours. All in all, a favourable purchase and adorable plush toy.

Adorable, Great Gift for fans of “The Mandolorian” show!
I bought this for my son's 13th birthday and of course it'll be a hit! Who doesn't love this guy?! I'm a 38 year old mother and I could keep it for myself! Lol We've talked about this toy before and he is excited about the collecting aspect of it, more than what it can do. He has a lot of these collectable sort of toys and never gets tired of them. Star wars collectables are timeless, and will never go out of style.

ADORABLE!
This plush is a lot smaller than I thought. I don't feel as though it's worth the $24.99 price. The noises it makes are cute, but most of them are scared, worried or sad noises. The promotional video made it look like the plush would react to the frog or bowl of soup or broth, but he doesn't they're just accessories. I received the Mattel plush as a gift and that one is better quality, it just doesn't make noise but that doesn't matter.

This one is the coolest
This Ugly Monster Oogah Boogah Blue Plush is the funniest character in my room. Just because of its uniqueness and blue color, I have bought this out of curiosity. Thinking of buying one more for my niece too. Lovely product with nice quality. Loved it.
