I think this is a 1998 model, but not sure. I got this bike from the original owner. It has sat inside for the last 20+ years. The handle bars have chrome flaking off pretty good, rust and pitting too. The frame could use a good polishing. Tires are new. Chain has light surface rust, but was new and never used. Brakes work great, Brake cable looks new, Brake pads look new. I have the original seat, but a new one has been put on the bike. Grips are new. No dents were noticed, but there is scratches and some wear. The stickers are not perfect and some are scratched up. this would look killer with a good polishing and a new sticker kit. Crank arms have rust and pitting, the chrome is flaking off. This is not a show bike, not in mint condition, with signs of use. Perfect for a weekend rider, or a great candidate for a good restoration. This bike was top of the line when it was new. Hard to find them like this. Usually they need an overhaul. This bike is ready to ride today. We can pack this up and ship it. If we do ship this, the Bars, pedals, and other parts may be removed for shipping. You or a bike shop will have to re-install some parts. |
