2 Pull Chains can be Used
Great color. This has the ability to have two pull chains go through it and the metal piece on the bottom allows two pull chains to come through as well.

Not as large as the description
Exactly what I needed. My wife somehow broke ours which was amber colored and dimmed the room a little too much for my liking. This white bowl lets in a good amount of light.

2 Pull Chains can be Used
Was looking for a replacement for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan's light bowl as the original is brown color giving off a brown orange light. Hampton bay only makes that kind. Took a chance on this one and it basically works. Returns were the feature that made me pick this seller as the listing is problematic. Turns out the bowl is more grey than white and the linen streaks are not that appealing (see photos) but I don't look directly at it and the light is brighter and whiter than the original bowl. The fit is also not perfec and not the same as the opening is wide and slides a bit while installing but the finial holds it snug. Listing doesn't show the finial but it has a second hole for the fan chain. The installation I did myself but it was clumsy holding the bowl with one hand and navigating the fan chain through the hole with the other hand. Definitely would have been easier with a second set of hands. It's wide enough for flame type 60 watt candelabra bulbs as well as the 40 watt led ones I got recently from my electric co.

Perfect fit. As expected.
Loved this! Worked better and looks better than the "universal" one at Home Depot. I needed one that would accommodate TWO pull chains (one for the light and one for the fan). This worked PERFECT for that. I don't know why this was so hard to find at my local big box store.

basically compatible with hampton bay fans
I need to replace 2 glass shades on my ceiling fans that were very dark (tea) colored. These are so much brighter and cleaner. They do have a linen pattern on them that is not as obvious in the picture. It doesn't bother me at all. I'm just glad our two bedrooms are bright and visible.
