Relief after 1 year of suffering
I've had scalp follicultis for a year now. On top of this condition being unsightly, the itch is maddening (I'm female and have clipped my hair close to the scalp twice in this past year). My PCP prescribed two rounds of a very strong antibiotic, which worked while I was taking it but didn't knock out the infection completely. I went to a dermatologist, who did a culture. I was prescribed another antibiotic, which again only worked while I was on it. I then got topical erythromycin to use as an ongoing control measure. I've tried various dandruff shampoos, sulfur soap, benzoyl peroxide face wash, Dead Sea mud soap, tea tree oil shampoo, and more, all with so-so results. CLn shampoo is very expensive, but for me it's less than the cost of going back to the dermatologist, so I figured it was worth a try. The first time I used it, the itch relief was amazing. I felt normal again. I continue to use this product 2 or 3 times a week, rotating it with milder shampoos. The itch does come back at times, but it's nothing like it used to be. Bumps have gone from severe to mild/moderate. I'm happy.

Relief after 1 year of suffering
I have had scalp acne or folliculitis for years. I work in dermatology. There are no prescriptions out there that can penetrate hair - you could use Benzoyl Peroxide but it bleaches hair and doesn't come in a shampoo vehicle! Same with all the other topical antibiotics, steroids, etc... My PA recommended this and it works very well. Would 100% recommend to my own patients.

So I gave this product a 5 star review and here’s why it deserves it. I’ve had pimples on my head for over a decade now, it started out mildly and only popped up as it got colder. Over the years it progressively got worse, around 3 years ago it really got bad, I would touch my scalp and there was just pain and crackling from new inflammation under previous scab, ouch. I went to a dermatologist, he said I had bacterial infection, gave me cream and antibiotics. It helped for a temporary time, but then came back not as severe, but still pretty bad, I’d say from pain of 10 down to 7.5. After plenty of research and reading reviews, I was skeptical, but desperate as you probably are if you’re reading this, so, I got this shampoo and let me tell you it’s a miracle. My inflammation subsided to almost gone, almost. I use it on daily basis for about 3 weeks now and pretty much within 2 days I felt it’s benefits. I wasn’t sure if it was coincidental or it was actually working, but the other day I had an inflamed deep inflammation on my scalp which felt like the last fight by them as they all pulled together into one spot for shelter. I shampooed and it went half the size the next day and even less the next. I don’t know if it will solve my problem permanently, but at this point going from 70% down to 5-10% sure feels amazing. If you’re suffering from folliculitis as I was/am then go for it, it’s worth every penny!

I have Folliculitis problem on my scalp. spending 45$ to see skin specialist, paid $10 for the medicine, barely worked but the problem came back soon. Use this shampoo once, my scalp is not itching anymore, the bleeding skin areas are receding. Using this product can solve my skin problem, also clean my hair. Spending less money for serving dual purpose.. Hope this product has subscription feature, so that we can pay less.

I have been looking for a shampoo that did not make my scalp break out for decades and out of desperation I made contact with a local dermatologist and she recommended CLn Shampoo, it has been 2 weeks and I have not had any issues. So far this is the product I have been looking for.

I have Folliculitis problem on my scalp. spending 45$ ...
Fellow Folliculitis sufferers - THIS PRODUCT WORKS! For the past 3+ years I've been suffering from Folliculitis on my scalp. To make matters worse, my genetic code has determined that now would be as good a time as ever to start going bald. Not a great combination. For three years I went to see physicians and dermatologists who prescribed antibiotics which only partially works and topical shampoos that shared the same characteristics of battery acid - no thank you. I finally stumbled upon CLn and while I've only been using it for about two weeks I'm definitely starting to see the benefits of this product. I've not had to scratch and claw away at the unsightly red lumps and yellow heads for the past 10 days; the shampoo (fingers crossed, touchwood, all that...) looks to have gained control over this confidence-destroying bacteria. I still have shades of red spots, but unless you're looking for them they're hard to find and remember, I'm bald. I hope to God I've finally found a shampoo that does the trick. I apply the shampoo on M-W-F-Su and on the off days I've been using Cetaphil as my shampoo. I apply a decent amount and rub into the scalp for a good 30 seconds and let it sit there for about another minute - I just picture all the ingredients eating away and destroying the bacteria before I rinse it off. Many have complained about the smell and yes, there is a bleach-like aroma, but I've been applying conditioner straight after and it has worked great. Good luck to everyone still fighting - if you haven't already, start using CLn - it REALLY works!

Miracle shampoo (possibly)
I got both the orange and yellow labeled CLn shampoos. I used the yellow label one today, and my hair is soft, manageable and clean, without having to add any conditioner. After skin prick and skin patch testing, and waiting the five days of testing and four more days of mail order for these shampoos, I was so ready. My doctor told me, 'You have no other options.' (Resistance is futile.) While waiting for the mail order shampoo to arrive, I've been washing with the CeraVe liquid hydrating cleanser. It is so nice to get back to shampoo. I will try the orange label bottle in a couple days.

Folliculitis No More!
I have been suffering from painful and itchy scalp irritation for decades. I get these papules and bumps that hurt and weep. I am endlessly pestered by this condition. It’s so distracting. I’ve used tea tree, ketoconazole, and clindamycin but never found relief. Clindamycin was the best, but only about 50% effective. This shampoo has been a breakthrough. After 10 days, my scalp is clear for the first time in 20 years. No more mindlessly picking at my head during meetings (something that embarrassed me all the time because it was involuntary). It’s like a complete and total cure. I don’t know if it will work for you, but it works for me.

Wonderful stuff
Out of nowhere, starting dealing with itchy, flaky scalp that then turned into open sores on the back and sides of my head. I tried 3 types of shampoos prior to this as I didn't know what the cause was. I suffered with sores on my scalp for 8 months it was horrible. I finally purchased this to see if the issue was Folliculitis and after about 3 washes, no more itch so I kept using it every day (sounds like a lot of washing but it worked). After about 2 weeks the sores were almost healed. After 4 weeks of using this I AM fully CLEAR of any scalp issues. No scabs, no sores, no itch, no nothing. I used this everyday for 4 weeks (small dime size amounts) then went back to using a regular shampoo/conditioner every other day. After all of those washes with long thick hair, I still have 1/4 left of the bottle so its worth the money. I now use it 1 time a week and started back to washing only every other day. I was even able to go get a haircut without being embarrassed. I chopped off all of my hair into a short bob to start fresh because YES, this will dry out your hair unless you deep condition but I didn't do do that because I didn't want to interfere with what it was doing for me and my treatment.

A Real Game Changer For Me
I have suffered from folliculitis for years and this is the first shampoo I have found that specifically targets this condition. IT WORKS! I find that if I first use a regular shampoo to clean my hair, the lather works better on my scalp. I follow the directions of lathering the shampoo in my hands first and then applying it to my scalp for an entire minute. I am not bothered by any bad scent and use it every other day. It controls both the itching and the inflamed burning sensation. I will continue to buy this product.

This works. I've battled Folliculitis for 35 years. Over the years, I've gone to dermatologists, General Surgeons and Plastic Surgeons, for biopsies and never gotten an answer. Everything kept coming back with "unknown". All they ever did was give me shots of cortisone & antihistamine in the affected area. It never cured the overall problem. SAD! This stuff can spread when you sweat. The sweat will transfer it from your scalp, to your face and other parts when working outside. I researched it myself on line and found the answer to my problem myself. Look for the information for Folliculitis on line at mayoclinic dot org. This is the first time ever, that I got any help, when I bought this CLn Shampoo! My suggestion is to anyone that uses it. Soap up the affected area and leave it on your hair in particular for several minutes and give it a chance to work. I wash my hair every night with it, since I received it. It is the first time in 35 years that I've gotten RELIEF!! Thank Goodness! I'd buy it again if I ever need it! It's clearing up!!

It actually works on folliculitis!
This CLN Shampoo was recommended by my dermatologist after I was diagnosed with folliculitis on my lower back (around neck/hairline) of my scalp and one place along my jawline. Terrible, terrible inflammation and itching for almost a year. ! I had tried tea tree shampoos and almost every product known for itchy scalp.. It's on the expensive side, but I ordered it and let me tell you - it is worth it's weight in gold!!! I have spent more money on worthless over the counter remedies. This product along with a dose of doxycycline antibiotics has cleared it up. I won't ever go back to regular shampoos. Just use a conditioner afterwards and you should notice a difference after 2nd shampoo. I use it every other day. I also use the CLN Sports Wash along my chin/jawline. Wonderful products! I highly recommend! I really suggest you go to dermatologist first and not try to diagnose it yourself.

It starts making a difference the first time you use it!
It's worth the money. I've dealt with life long acne and folliculitis. 2 rounds of Accutane took care of my acne and decreased my scalp folliculitis but it never really went away. On top of that, I am bald so folliculitis is even more of an issue for me. This started working for me on day 1. It hasnt completely cleared it but has drastically reduced it. Less pain and less anxiety = great product. A little but goes a long way. I probably use a dime sized amount every other shower. This will probably last me a month or month and a half. Well worth it.

A solution to life long folliculitis
This is the greatest product I've used on my scalp yet. I've suffered from folliculitis for over a decade and nothing has compared to this shampoo. It works better than the topical solution I received from my dermatologist. It barely has a scent, lathers well, stops the itching/inflammation, and worked quickly. I will definitely continue to buy this product. I suggest doing a really good lather and leaving it on the hair with a shower cap for an hour to really help it soak in.

Great product!
I recently bought a Pitbull Skull Shaver and began shaving my head. My wife pointed out that the back of my head started to break out. Looked like pimples. Research led me to believe I had Folloculitis. Finding how to treat it led me to this shampoo. THIS STUFF WORKS! I used this on an every 2 day basis. By the 3rd use, my head was totally cleared up! All the way clear. I can now shave my head in piece and couldn't be happier.
