Good scanner for the price.
The media could not be loaded. In the video the film on Kodak reel went through the machine fine. Also in video was film on a non Kodak reel it was jumpy. 2 problems with non kodak reels 1 the film flies off the reels you have to keep stopping and hand winding your film back on uptake and play reels. ( for a 400foot film I had to stop 14 times to fix the film. 2 the non Kodak reel did fit adapter to be played but because reel doesn't have silts on both sides of reel the adapter would not go on the reel for rewind. ( I'm now stuck with film reel that came with machine until I get other reel) I have showen pictures of that. No all brands of reels will fit the rewind side of the scanner. I suggest you make sure all your reels play and rewind are all Kodak for best possible use with this machine.

Product did not work big disappointment
I find the quality of the scan adequate. It’s nowhere near what you’d get from a professional scan, not that you should expect that. For the average person, it should be just fine. I’m a professional videographer and am probably a bit too picky. Notching down the sharpness and color seems to help with the look of the scan. It does have a tendency to skip or hang up on a frame. so you need to babysit it. At 2FPS, that can be quite awhile if you have several hundred feet of film. Because the device has auto exposure and auto white balance, you’ll get some pulsing in the scan with films that have a bright sky and darker foreground. The color will vary too as it tries to determine the proper white balance. The last item is- it scans at 20fps. Super 8mm is normally shot at 18fps, so the motion is slightly sped up. Same for standard 8mm at 16fps. You can correct this in a computer with software like Adobe and such that can adjust the speed.

Does a great as long as you use Kodak reel.
Was very simple to use and works great. Did not see any reviews here or other usual places so thought i would say something. The process is slow since it’s capturing one frame at a time. The final product is really based on the quality of the original film. This is no miracle color corrector it just works! Best to keep an eye on it as it occasionally locks up or spits film. That issue is a result of bad film NOT the machine. Love it!

Good scanner for the price.
This worked really well. I do seem to have skipping issues with Super8. Almost like the gearing has trouble with tracking the smaller holes. The regular 8mm worked great and didn't have these issues.. mainly because the holes are bigger. Not sure if i missed something or of there is a problem with my particular machine or if its a design flaw. But just keep in mind that Super8 is a bit temperamental. Other than that, this thing is great!!. You probably want to have some good editing software to further adjust clips as this kind of film is old and may need some more comprehensive tools to fix tougher issues.

Works Flawlessly.
Oh my gosh!! This was FAR beyond expectations. I had it set up and digitizing in less than TEN MINUTES!! Easy, beautiful results. Have Super 8 movies from the 60s and am SO HAPPY I purchased this. It was a splurge for me but compared to thousands of dollars I would have spent (even with coupons) plus the reluctance to let precious memories go into the unknown via mail, I took the chance and SO glad I did. Now, getting 100++ old movies ready to surprise my family. They will love it. This is a great product. Not a hitch at all so far, even with a movie with crimped film, and a couple with signs of aging. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

These strips are super gross. Gross in that they tend to turn to a jelly while wearing them. At least they taste good. And if you’re buying them for whitening - these strips are for you!! I find it helpful to place the strip, then use my fingernails to gently shove the strip between my teeth, as they really do whiten, and I want the cracks to whiten as well. I noticed a difference after the first try. After three I started getting comments on my teeth. By day three on a Crest strip, I would be on my knees begging for sensitive tooth relief - no issue with these strips so far.

I can’t even make this up! I am a black coffee and red wine drinker, and after TWO uses this was my results! Only thing I dislike is that the bottom strip is difficult to put on (like maybe feels small) but could be an operator error. Y’all this is me using the product TWO TIMES. do yourself a favor and bite the bullet and buy this product. I typically have sensitive teeth and these give no sensitivity, don’t taste bad at all, and give actual results.

Noticeably whiter after three uses!
The media could not be loaded. So I read a lot of glowing and mixed reviews on these strips. I’ve seen them all over Instagram too, it was time to go all the way in and see for myself. I’m two weeks in and they work. Is it dental office quality after 2-3 strips? No. Do they make your teeth crazy sensitive after 5-6, just a tad. The side effects from using these is so low that I’m fine to continue the 21 day treatment. My teeth are noticeably whiter and even overall in color. I drink a ton of coffee and have never fully whitened my teeth over the course of a few weeks. Be realistic when you try these and plan ahead if it’s for a vacation, wedding or big event. You’ll need to apply the strips for about two weeks before you really see the results you want. I plan to buy more and use 2-3 times a week for maintenance. For my sensitivity peeps: I tried the crest strips years back and couldn’t get through a salad. My teeth were so sensitive I had to sip through a straw for a few days. These don’t do that to your teeth and are your best bet to whitening without the painful sensitivity!

I could never find a whitening strip that did not make my teeth hurt during/after using them. They all made my teeth painful and left white spots. These strips DO NOT do any of those things!!! They are easy to use and painless. LOVE THEM!

They work, no sensitivity
I've used this for 7 days so far in a row and WOW the difference! Can't wait to use the remaining 14 treatments :) The before and after pictures were unreal so make sure you take some. There is no sensitivity as you are whitening, or afterwards which is a huge win. The only thing is when you are taking the strips off there is still gunk that stays on your teeth, but it is probably because it is more natural ingredients used, so I don't mind it for that reason. I just use my finger to get it off and brush my teeth afterwards. I only got the whitening strips and see a huge difference, but definitely want to try out the mouthwash and toothpaste too with this so that will be my next purchase!

If this product zings your teeth/creates spots?
Lumineux Teeth Whitening Strips work great. I am a big coffee drinker and thought for sure nothing would work, but was pleasantly surprised after my first use. It has been about 10 days now and I can see a big difference.

No Sensitivity when whitening!
It is a great product. I typically whiten with my custom bleaching trays and gel, but I hadn't done it in over a year. I'm a dental hygienist and had been looking for a product I could recommend to my patients. I have moderate stain superimposed on tartar on my lower anteriors, but since the product claims to remove stain I wanted to test the efficacy. The other claim is that there is no sensitivity. So, I am very impressed. I did experience slight zingers starting at 18min and had to remove at 23 min. However, I did apply my retainers over the strips to hold in place better. I will say I wore the strips on their own for 10 min and they do hold up better than crest strips. It did remove some of that coffee stain. Tomorrow I plan on getting my teeth cleaned and continuing whitening sessions. About the sensitivity I'll have my hygienist apply some desensitizer. It's an extra cost, but it reliefs thermal discomfort for about 4-6 mths. On the first pic I have the retainers over the strips. On the second pic its strips on their own. The third pic shows my results. I brightened about 3 shades.

Many people have made a lot of comments that the strips don’t stay on and/or they got white spots. There’s a technique that I thought I’d share. Try to apply the strips to your teeth with them dry. I just took a tissue and soaked up as much moisture as I could and quickly affixing the strip FIRMLY before any moisture could get between the teeth and the strip. By pressing firmly, you also get even contact, avoiding white spots. Next, try to swallow as normal and avoid fiddling with it with your tongue. Otherwise, the moisture will start to peel the strip off. Well, hope this helps. I noticed a difference in my teeth very quickly once I figured this out.

There’s a technique
I just started using these, and have gotten immediate results. They were easy to apply to my teeth and they stayed on. They didn’t slide around like other brands I have used in the past. So far I am very satisfied and would recommend this product.

Worked first day.
No issues with quantity or packaging as noted in other reviews. I have used Crest standard & sensitive strips before and like these better. Pros: no issues with sensitivity/pain in teeth or gums: nice flavor (peroxide makes me gag); results after 2 uses. (No pics bc I have 2 more weeks to completion) Cons: white spot after removal - as described in listing; application needs some TLC. See below. My tips: - make sure teeth are dry (hard to do for the bottom); - place strip at/above the gum line (so you don’t have telltale signs of whiting lines); - try to not salivate for the first 30 seconds and bit down/clench teeth so the strip doesn’t slip back - do not run your tongue against the back you f the strip (it may not be totally adhered, but who cares) - take a straw during this first 30 seconds of clenching and push the strip into tooth gaps or where your teeth aren’t totally aligned (ie crooked) so it’s struck in the crevices (to help with all over whitening) Fingers crossed I get the perfect whiteness!

Ok, I’ve been using this product for one whole week and there is noticeable whitening going on! The BEST part, NO SENSITIVITY!. I am in my late 60’s and smoked for 3 decades in my younger years (I have been a non-smoker for over 10 years). Due to smoking and genetics I have receding gums. This has made it impossible for me to use whitening strips due to extreme sensitivity. With this product there is no sensitivity and after just 7-days my teeth look better. I’m excited to continue my whitening as I purchased the box with 44 strips (3-weeks of treatment) to see further results. Although I haven’t smoked for over 10-years I do enjoy coffee. However, this product is actually whitening my teeth. I recently just purchased the mouthwash, toothpaste and 7-days worth of strips. I am a believer and living proof of just how awesome this product is!!!! I will continue to use this product.

Need a little a little TLC, but does the job.
I’ve only used this once. Yep. ONCE and I’m already here to write a review. I saw a VISIBLE difference in one use. The taste was wonderful, and actually made my breathe taste so fresh even after removal. You can just tell they work way better than comparing whitening strips. My before (is with the strip on. Just after first applying it) my after is 35 minutes later

They work!!!
I was reluctant to have such expectations with he fabulous reviews, but this product is fantastic! You'll see a difference after only one time. Keep using them and prepare to "WOW" yourself. I had been using a gel-in-the-mold, blue-light, pain-in-the-arse whitening system. It worked well, but it was at least an hour to see any difference at all. Also, not my idea of fun holding that blue light in my mouth and sopping up all the drool throughout the hour it took to whiten my teeth. These films are great, natural with no chemical taste or smell. One thing I will advise is to dry off your teeth before applying the film so it stays in place better. Too much saliva and it'll be "slip-sliding away." Other than that, it's super easy to use. Already recommended this is several friends. This product does not disappoint.
