Great capsule for boosting
folic acid
These capsules have worked great on improving health of
my nervous system and boosting folic acid in body.
I would recommend everyone who have been facing deficiency
of folic and there is no side effects of this.

Really helpful capsules.
I have been using Opti- folate capsule for the deficiency of folic acid and this one is helping me a lot for the same. These capsules work well when consume once is a day with a meal. By the time, I am noticing that my weakness has gone away which I was feeling due to the deficiency.

Unbelievably good price for high-dose 5-MTHF
I use this supplement specifically as a natural adjunct to my antidepressant. If you're only interested in ensuring you have folate sufficiency, you don't need this much. However, if you have mental health challenges and you're looking to take a holistic approach to treating them, it's worth seeing if you're one of the 50-75% of people who can get by on this formulation instead of needing to order something through your doctor.

My psychiatrist suggested I take this after having Genetic Testing done.
I was diagnosed with Bipolar Type 1 late 2016 at the age of 46. It wasn't until 2018 that I started to come out of the manic psychosis I was experiencing since 2016; un-medicated. I've always been a supplement believer and taker; my entire life. So when I began seeing my new psychiatrist we discussed genetic testing which I had heard would reveal the psychotropic (mental health) medications that would and would not work with me. As we reviewed them together it showed that Methylfolate would be really good for me to take daily for my mental health condition. So I began to take it daily; never missed a dose until 2 months ago when I ran out and am now reordering; financial situation. I can honestly say that I do not notice any change in my mentation or physical self but I have learned that with many health supplements you may not "feel" anything but that does not mean they're not working brilliantly for your body. So I take; 1 pill a day in the morning. My doctor explained to me that with this supplement it allows the Folate and or folic acid to pass the blood brain barrier, entering the brain and that is where the Folate needs to be; in your brain for good mental health. So all these years I've been taking Folic Acid/Folate; it hasn't been being adequately absorbed by my noggin. I can tell you that this price and company to date has the most affordable and always in stock Methylfolate I've seen and I've searched much; including vitamin companies who carry it but not in the 15mg capsules many doctors order. Instead you'd have to take 10+ pills a day just to achieve 15mg. The shipping is fast and so far no busted capsules. I am very happy with this seller and the product.

Very Good Product!!!
I have been taking Deplin, a medical form of folic acid because of a blood disorder that I have. It's very expensive and got to where it wasn't working. I tried this form and it works WAY better and is a third of the price!!!! Thank You!!!!

This folic acid has really helped me. I felt a huge difference after two days. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who is deficiency in folic acid. It’s really good to take with your medicines if you have a maintenance medicine. Also, much more affordable than Duplin.

Even better than Deplin
I've been on Deplin for several years, but my insurance recently stopped covering it. I found these and figured I'd try them. I assumed there would be some sort of adjustment period or that I would feel differently going from one to the other. I feel even better than when I was on Deplin. I only wish I found this product sooner- I've been dealing with check-ups and pharmacies for years when I could have been paying a fraction of the cost and getting it straight from supplier!

Life is much better
I have MTHFR and also taking methotrexate. I feel so much better and clear headed after taking it and I did not expect this. It's so nice to feel like my old self. I get up in the morning and want to do stuff. Before this product I thought life for me would just get worse and worse. My rheumatologist put me on this 30mg daily. And most medical insurance companies will not cover cost. Thankful Supplier carries it... I did not take full dose right away i worked my self up to 30mg daily

My Dr Recommended this additive and it actually helps
My Dr suspects my anxiety/depression (under control - thank you) has a strong familial component (at least two generations back to my knowledge). This additive (it is not classified as a drug) fill in the gap in a faulty enzymatic reaction and serves as a pre-cursor to Serotonin (I think). Well, I think it works. If it is a placebo effect - I'll take that too - as I am feeling better. Don't stop taking your meds on your own - work with your Dr and have family and friends provide feedback. If this does not work for you there may be other issues at play. Worth trying in my opinion.

MTHFR Help for Gene Variant
This product has really helped with my energy, mood, and lowering my homocysteine levels—all of which can be off due to a genetic test that I had that showed I have trouble methylation or processing the B vitamins in the body. Before, they stagnated in the body, but now, I am energized by these capsules. I am so happy to have found these. My doctor takes the same product for his MTHFR variant gene, too. Look into the test or just take the supplement on your own. Either way, it can help you.

OTC (Over The Counter) Prescription
My primary health provider suggested I add 15 mg of Opti-Folate L-Methylfolate to my Rx regimen twice/day. I cannot thank him enough. My knowledge/understanding of "folate" properties is limited. Consequently, I can recommend only based on how I now feel, having taken it for about 3 months: much better!. To reiterate: I cannot thank my primary medical provider enough for suggesting I take folate. Before taking anything, though, I hope you will first seek true medical advice.

Great value, good product
My GP prescribed me this B vitamin for a blood in balance. I tried to get it as a prescription but it was very expensive and my insurance wouldn’t cover it because it was a vitamin. What’s up with that? Anyway I got it through Supplier at about 25% of the cost at the pharmacy, and when I had my repeat blood test everything was fine. Very pleased with the product

MTHFR defect support
This product is a life saver. I suffer from an MTHFR defect. As a result I cannot process Folic Acid. I can however process the bio form “Metylfolate”. I used to get a prescription med, but this is nearly half the price.

Adjunct therapy
Great adjunct for anxiety and/or depression medication. These help to increase the effectiveness of the original medications. Much cheaper here than in the store and comes in a big bottle. Definitely recommend for those taking chronic mental health medications and feel they need that extra boost the meds used to give but not so much anymore.

Works for me....
Having been diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and not finding a good combination of prescription meds my doctor told me to give this a shot. I have been on it for a year now and have been stable mentally for this whole period only using this and a healthy dose of vitamin D. Everyone is different though but it's worth a shot to have something that isn't prescription based and with the negative effect of feeling like a zombie.

Excellent choice for the money.
I need to take the l-methylflorate because of a genetic condition that makes it hard for my liver to metabolize folate and other b- vitamins.I was prescribed Deplin. When I filed it,I was charged over $100/mo.I mentioned it to my prescriber who turned me on to this. It's just like name brand at less than a fraction of the cost. DEFINITELY recommend.

Same product as prescription, much lower price
My doctor prescribed L-methylfolate and my insurance did not cover it. At the pharmacy, they wanted $135 for 30 capsules of this supplement, but supplier to the rescue at closer to $30 for 120 capsules of the same supplement. I am thrilled and it works just as well!

Good alternative to Deplin
I have MTHFR and had been taking Deplin for 6 years with great results (reduction of symptoms of anxiety and depression). My insurance recently canceled Deplin so I looked for an alternative and found this. I've been taking it for 3 months and still feel great, so I think it is reasonable alternative to Deplin!

Unbelievably good price for high-dose 5-MTHF
UPDATE ***** I've been taking these for 3 months, and they are excellent. They work perfectly, and as I said in my earlier review, they cost less than other brands and work exactly the same. I take these with my bipolar medications, and it really makes a difference in helping absorption of the medications. I know, because I went off of them for about a week to "test" them to see if they really made a difference, and they absolutely do. I highly recommend this brand. (Just thought it would be helpful to hear from someone who has been taking them for a while! ?? ) *******original review: I bought these to replace a more expensive brand that I had been using for a long time. I was hesitant to try these since the price was lower and I didn't know if they would work as well but the quality appears to be the same and works in exactly the same way.

This is the best price and quality of methylfolate 15 mg that I've found. Noticed a difference immediately when taking one daily along with my SSRI. I've been through so many new drugs in over forty years. I know what has had an effect and what is maybe just wishfulness. I know to give new meds time. Being a B-vitamin, it's water soluble. One or two days without it and I notice the change for the worse in mood. Not everyone has this deficiency, so you may not need this. I do.

My doctor prescribed this as a booster for my antidepressant - the Pharmacy wanted $190 because my prescription coverage considered it a "nutritional supplement" - yet, it's sold in prescription form. My doctor looked these up and said "they're the same stuff' Great deal and noticed much improvement in my mood. It's a folic B vitamin supplement I take daily. It's in a capsule, not at all hard to swallow.

My friend and NP recommended I try this for my anxiety since I don't like taking medication. I was skeptical at first, but after the first day I could tell a big difference!
