This time I put about 6 drops in the ear and laid down with the ear up for a good 10 minutes before flushing
I had a recent physical and PA told me my right ear was clogged, told her I'd clean it at home. My wife had recently bought this and figured I'd give it a go. On the first attempt some debris came out but my ear was totally clogged after and I couldn't hear, figuring I'd have to go to have it professionally cleaned. I decided to give it another try. This time I put about 6 drops in the ear and laid down with the ear up for a good 10 minutes before flushing. That did the trick and a big gob of wax came out and no more clogged feeling. I decided to try the same on the other ear and had the same results with a large glob of wax coming out after allowing the drops to work 10 minutes while laying down with the ear up before flushing it. So anyone having problems or thinking this product doesn't work, I'd suggest used a good amount of the drops first and lay down with the ear up for at least 10 minutes to let it loosen up the wax. Then, make sure the water you rinse with is warm. You may need to do it a couple of times. I do have some concerns that if used improperly or inserted too far that you might be able to damage your ear drum. Seems like there should be some type of cone tip that will not allow the tip too close to the ear drum and also some type of pressure limiter in the pump that will not allow too forceful of a spray. It would also be helpful measure temp of water you are using so that it's not so hot that it could damage the ear drum.

Sadly, This Did Not Work For Me
This is a somewhat awkward device to use and sure you will get wet where you don't need it, but it really does work. I actually had to use it on two different occasions to clear out the stubborn hard wax, but it did finally work so I am quite pleased with this product. I even went out and purchased additional cartridges for future use. It is worth it, believe me.

I did as others did and let the drops sink in while I laid on my side for 10 minutes. Then hot water shots through the ear (slightly uncomfortable but not bad at all). And upon using a tissue to dab out the wax in a suction style motion, a giant glob of wax came out! I'm an Army vet and have had bad wax out since my deployment to Iraq and I'll say this option beats going to the doctor to get wax buildup removed. Very pleased!

Surprise, Surprise, It Worke!!!
I bought this after hearing about it from a podcast but forgot I had it. I went to CVS and paid $135 to clean my ears and they had something very similar to this and thats when I remembered I had this back at home. My ears for impacted after a year later and I got to use this tool and it worked great! Now I dont have to worry about the build of wax from using my in ear headphones.

Simply put: it works
It's difficult to rate this, because I'm using part of it, but not all. I use the spray bottle, the tips, and the conditioning packets. When I go to the doctor to get my ears flushed out, he uses a similar spray bottle filled with 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 10 parts water. This bottle holds over 1 cup of liquid, maybe 1 and 1/4 cups. So what I do is pour about a third cup of hydrogen peroxide (3%) and the rest warm water, into my measuring cup which holds about 1 and 1/4 cups up to the rim. Then I pour that into this spray bottle, insert the sprayer with fresh tip inserted, give it a gentle shake to mix it, and spray my mixture into one ear, until the bottle is nearly empty. Then I repeat all for my other ear. When I've finished that, I flush out the bottle and sprayer with just water. Then I follow the instructions with the conditioning packet emptied into the spray bottle, fill with warm water, and flush each ear. Then I'm done. During the first step, if I feel my ears are unusually full of wax, I turn my head to one side and let the hydrogen peroxide solution sit in there for a few minutes, but after the first usage, and if I maintain my ears in this way every 2 to 3 weeks, it really isn't necessary. I don't care for the solution included in this kit, as it is adding additional substance into my ears, and I didn't find it particularly effective. If the ear wax doesn't come out with hydrogen peroxide and water mixed in this spray bottle, then you probably need a doctor's opinion on the matter. So, regarding this product, I like the spray bottle (but wish it held enough to do both ears without refilling), I like the tips (I snip about a quarter inch off the length), and I very much like the conditioning packets. I don't use the cup, as I do this over my kitchen sink. In summary, I give this kit 4 stars for the part of it I find very useful.
