Sturdy and Long Lasting!
Bought this dollhouse for my girls in 2016 and it's still standing strong! I originally purchased them a plastic Barbie dollhouse the year before and the overpriced piece of garbage barely lasted a few months. This dollhouse is sturdy and the perfect size for any and all dolls. They use it for Barbies, LOL dolls, Shopkins....you name it. Assembly was quick and easy and I built it on Christmas eve night while setting up all of their Santa toys. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to buy a doll house for their kid(s) that will last. It's one of the few toys that they constantly play with.

Sturdy and Long Lasting!
I thoroughly researched doll houses for my six year old for Christmas. Comparing all options out there (kidkraft, Melissa & Doug, Barbie). I decided on the KidKraft Kayla doll house and I am absolutely thrilled. Reasons below: 1) The set up was easy. Working alone it took me (I'm not exactly handy) about an hour 2) I have never seen hardware packaged in such an awesome way. All of the screws came separated & labeled in a sealed cardboard/plastic package. This was perfect so you only opened which screws you needed for that step. 3) The construction is solid. Made of wood with heavy duty stickers over top I know this will hold up compared to a plastic dreamhouse. 4) The furniture is adorable. It is also made of wood and real fabric on the bed & chaise The only (and very minor) suggestion I would make is to put a few words on the instructions instead of just pictures. I like to see and read what I am supposed to do instead of just look at a picture of what screws go where. I am very excited to see how my kiddos play with this.

The colors are beautiful, the dollhouse is sturdy, and my 3 year old adores it!
This is a colorful beautiful doll house any little girl is sure to love. my daughter absolutely loved the fact that it came in both of her favorite colors- pink & purple! The furniture and the house are the perfect size for her barbies! Everything is wood on this house except for the stairs that are a very thick very durable plastic. Very well crafted, except that our table came crooked, however i intend on replacing most of the furniture with better barbie furniture in the future. the tops of the couch and the bed are a fabric top, which i did not notice from the photo, pleasantly surprised. The room also seem bigger in person than i judged from the photo . Doll house was extremely easy to put together everything is clearly labeled. the instructions are only 7 steps. You will need a screwdriver for parts of it, it comes with an alan key for the rest-most of it is put together with the alan key. it took me about 30 mins to assemble it all. The parts all fit together perfectly, walls and floors met together perfectly and lined up. On step 6 be sure you have all the screws in before putting the back on!!!! only complaint was minor, the screws are all in a plastic divided container with a cardboard backing, it was alittle difficult to remove the backing without mixing up the screws that are labeled via the backing. i would have prefered seperated labeled bags, but maybe others would prefer this! Overall this dollhouse is amazing by itself when you add on the price i got it for 93- including the shipping, its AWESOME! My daughter cheered with delight when she saw it all put together and got right to stocking it full of all her barbies and accessories, played all night fell asleep next to it lol.

My daughter loved seeing this on Christmas morning. There was a hole in an early step of the build that was not pre-drilled perfectly and we had a heck of a time putting it together. We struggled far too long before getting out the drill and fixing the hole! After that, super simple. It’s holding up well to daily use. I like that it comes with a few key pieces instead of a million junk chairs, couches, beds, etc. Barbies are fitting just fine in this house and there’s plenty of room for kids to get their hands in there without frustration.

Awesome Doll House Awesome Price!
Heads and shoulders above a plastic doll house! Just right size for the Barbie-like dolls. Very sturdy and big enough for 2 girls to play side by side!! Only real piece of plastic is the stair case. This will last for years of normal play! And super easy to assemble, this 60 year old Grammy can put it together in under an hour! The furnishings are also mostly wooden, very well made and super cute. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Granddaughters love it!

This was a huge hit from Santa ! This was very easy to assemble my Son had it together in less than 30 minutes and he Follows directions. It’s sturdy, beautifully made and has so much detail on the inside walls. It came with a tree which I think is a waste of the pieces of furniture it should have a crib or cradle. That is why I gave 41/2 stars. Also be aware of dimensions it is Big lol Bigger than we thought it was and for the cost it was well worth it.

Outstanding price for this doll house.
When my daughter asked for a Barbie Dream House for Christmas, I nearly choked at the thought of dropping nearly $150 on a plastic house. Due to previous experiences I don't have a very high opinion of any "Barbie-brand" dollhouses. After some research I settled on this - and it was SO worth it! 1. The house fits Barbies, which was the most important part of my search. 2. It's made of WOOD. Easy to assemble, yet sturdy, but not overly heavy. The furniture pieces that are included are also made of wood. My only bit of advice would be to make sure you're aware of the dimensions before purchasing! I didn't realize how large it was until it was assembled - and I had to move around a few things in my daughter's room so it would fit! It is pretty big. Awesome, but big.

Really pretty dollhouse, the frame is made of wood so it's pretty sturdy, i do regret not getting something maybe shorter but wider because my daughter needs to stand the entire time she plays and doesn't easily reach the top at the moment. So i guess it really depends what ur looking for in size. But for the price it's good quality. Only downside is that theres not alot of furniture that comes with it. So added a few things to spruce it up abit lol

Sturdy and Long Lasting!
Purchased this after spending about two weeks reviewing other dollhouses - all by KidKraft. Very happy with the Kayla house. My husband put it together in about an hour, he said the pieces were all there and sturdy. It is a Christmas gift for my 2.5 year old. The dollhouse isnt as big as I thought it would be, but it is still plenty big. Plenty of room for two children to play together, and enough furniture to get her started as her collection goes. Also fits Barbie dolls which was a must. Very well built, seems like with the right care it will last her a long time.

Perfect for 3 year old!
This is actually the "Hannah" dollhouse... or at least, that is what the instructions and papers that came with it told me. Not a big deal, it is still the house pictured. One of the pieces of "furniture" is actually a wooden two tiered cake that foes on the kitchen table. Again, not a big deal. The other pieces are fabulous and durable. Went together very easily and in a timely manner. It came with a wall anchor which is great because it isn't the heaviest of dollhouses and I foresee my 18 month old attempting to climb it. Fits Barbie very well, or, as we use it, fits an entire Sylvanian Family community, LOL.

Great alternative to the Barbie Dream House
Excellent doll house. You will not be dissapointed! You will have to put it together but it takes maybe half an hour if not less to get it together. It's very sturdy and in my opinion better than those plastic barbie houses that go for much more. I purchased this for my 3 year old and she adores it. It also comes with well built furniture to help you start. The bed is big enough to fit a real size barbie.

Not actually "Kayla" Dollhouse...
I absolutely love this house! It's perfect for my 4 year old. the size was amazing the furniture that comes with it is of good quality. It was kind of a pain in the butt to put together because boards were turned around but all in all it's a great purchase for a great price. My only complaint is that the stairs never connected correctly because the pieces with melted down and could have snap into place but I didn't feel like going through the hassle of calling And ordering a new part.

Awesome dollhouse!
Purchased two of these for our twin girls for Christmas and let me tell you I am so pleased with them in every aspect. Easy to assemble, (about 1 hour at leisure), sturdy wood. Excellent quality furniture with actual padded beds and pillows. These houses will be passed down they are such good quality and will last. My girls play at them every day ????

I absolutely love this house
The house was a Christmas present for my 3 year old daughter. It didn't take long to put together (directions were straight forward). The quality is very good and it looks great. It is a very large doll house and fits all of her figures in there just fine. I feel like this doll house will last for as long as my child will be interested in dolls. I should also mention that the packaging was satisfactory and no pieces were broken/damaged in any way. Good purchase! Santa got all the credit though.

Excellent materials and furniture! Quality product all the way around!
It’s beautiful! Took about an hour and a half to put together. Comes with a bed, couch, coffee table, lamp, kitchen table and chairs, a cake, and a palm tree. It’s bigger than I expected and my 5 year old is in love. She uses it for barbies, littlest pet shops, and her calico critters.

The quality is very good and it looks great
My daughter loves this doll house. It took about ~45 minutes to assemble, which is very reasonable. Had it about 6 months now and is still in great condition even with heavy use. It's sturdy but also fairly light, so it can be moved from room to room easily.
