I can't believe I just spent $150 on crutches
Best crutches I’ve ever used. I’ve been in them for 4 weeks now... Do they have flaws? Yes. Could they be improved? Yes. Are there any better crutches available? I don’t think so. Cons: -They do squeak and make “clanky” sounds -The hand grips could be better. You have to be aware of where you place your hands—if you hold too close to the pole, you’ll get blisters on the bottom knuckle of your thumb. (This grip is good, but could be designed better) - Mine needed a bit of WD-40 to reduce squeaking and tightness Pros: - They will save your hands and armpits

Takes a bit to get used to, much better than standard crutches
The best pair of crutches I've ever had, and I've had many (I keep on breaking things due to attempting to do something I shouldn't). This includes "Canadian"/"forearm" crutches (and I've tried very fancy pairs of those) but these are awesome. They're comfortable under your arms, and don't encourage you to put all your weight on your armpits. You avoid the whole "hunchback" aspect crutches can seem to give you. It's very easy to swivel the comfortable grips to the best angle while you're on the move. The foot caps are great and grippy (they get a little off-centered at times, but so do I). The way they are angled keeps them out of the way of your hips and legs. The armpit mesh swivels with your gait. If I was going to take off half-a-star, is that they're very creeky and noisy. I can live with that.

Great... some flaws, but best crutches available
I purchased these crutches based on the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon. I was scheduled for tendon repair surgery in my hip which would require non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. Being 69 years old and overweight with some arthritis in my hands, I wanted crutches that were ergonomically friendly and these worked great. I ordered them about 6 weeks prior to surgery and began practicing with them several times a day in the driveway, progressing the distance I could travel each day. Developing a technique and upper body strength was critical to success. In the immediate post-op period I also used a walker in the house as I was not steady enough to maneuver around the tight corners and furniture placement in our small home. In these situations one has to keep the crutches closer to the body which doesn't allow for the normal swing through when walking. Probably any crutches would have this disadvantage. In more open spaces (in and out of doctor's office, therapy, grocery store etc.) the crutches were far superior to a walker. My hands never got sore using these although I did develop some callous formation on the heel pads of my hands. The spring loaded armpit saddle was very comfortable. Overall these crutches were a great investment and I recommend them highly.

The best I've tried
Love this product. I will be on crutches for 3 months and so glad I bought these. I have 2 more hip surgeries after I heal and these will pay for themselves over and over. Much more comfortable than standard crutches and well worth the money if you will be on them for any period of time. One small negative is that someti.es the shoulder portion twists out of line but super simple to line it back up. They probably just need to be tightened somewhere.

Great Crutches
These crutches are awesome. They are really comfortable and I wish I had bought these sooner. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the plastic has a strong chemical smell that won't go away. I've tried several cleaning products to try and get rid of the smell but nothing works. Hopefully it'll go away soon since I've only had the crutches for a couple of days. Update: After 4 weeks on these crutches they have started to squeak and the shoulder piece has a slight wobble to it. I still prefer these to the other crutches by far though.

Comfort and stability
I have had the crutches for about two weeks now and they have made my recovery so much easier. Having been on crutches prior to hip surgery and knowing I was going to be on them post surgery, I cannot say enough about the Mobi-Legs. They are much lighter, the pivot feature makes it easy in tight spaces and collapse quickly when needed. I read the reviews prior to buying and was concerned about them being loud and while they do make a “clicking sound” it is hardly anything to make me love them any less. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the size of the hand grip. It is a little large and made of a hard plastic. If it were made of something a bit moldable, it would accommodate all sizes. I would definitely recommend them if you must be on crutches for more than a few weeks. Well worth the investment!

These crutches are awesome. They are really comfortable and I wish I ...
I purchased these to use after having arthroscopic hip surgery at the beginning of May, anticipating only needing to use them for about three weeks. These looked to be more comfortable than traditional crutches, so I took the chance and invested the extra money. I'm glad I did! Things turned out differently than anticipated, and I have been on them for 4 weeks, with at least 5 more ahead of me. I really like the design of these crutches. The handles are ergonomically shaped to be more comfortable on your hands, which I found to be a major bonus, given that my hands aren't used to having to carry the majority of my body weight. The underarm supports are a soft, flexible material, which has been super comfortable to have against my body. My only complaint about this design being that sometimes the underwire from my bra slips into the holes and pinches occasionally - obviously only a problem for underwired bra wearers. The underarm supports are also equipped with sort of a shock absorber type mechanism. While this isn't great if you're needing that part of the crutch to support your body, it does make standing in place far more comfortable than the stiffness of a traditional crutch. They're also fully adjustable - both in height and twist. I know that sounds silly, but the crutch and the underarm supports twist, allowing you to place the hand grips at an angle that is the most comfortable for you to support yourself - a real life saver for sore shoulders and elbows! Overall, I think these are a great product, and if you can afford to spend the extra money, they're well worth it! I would definitely recommend these to anyone I know.

Worth the investment in comfort!
I got these for my husband to use after he broke his leg. He also has bad shoulders so I was looking for crutches he could use for a long recovery and wouldn't cause his shoulders to ache. These did it! He's been up on crutches for a few weeks now and he hasn't had any complaints. Well, one complaint. They do make a bit of noise, but I think that's the case with any crutches.

Great buy!
knowing that I was about to have an ACL replacement and would be on crutches for an extended period of time, I decided to splurge on a pair of comfy crutches. I AM SO HAPPY I DID! These are by far the lightest and most comfortable crutches I have ever owned. The arm saddle has suspension so I haven’t experienced any underarm soreness. The pads are also open rubber, which I barely even feel. I did wear down the rubber feet and had to replace them, but that was super easy. One thing to note is that due to the nature of its design, the crutches are a little awkwardly balanced, so if you are propping them against a wall or table they have a tendency to fall over. It isn’t a big deal though, as long as you are aware of it. Overall, I am very happy I bought these and I will definitely be keeping them for future use.

Maybe TOO comfortable
First time on crutches after hip labrum surgery. Non weight bearing for about 4 weeks. Mobilegs have served me well around the house and out and about. Handle grips are probably the best feature. Ergo. The spring loaded pit protectors are nice but if using crutches correctly really shouldn’t be using. But nice when standing still for few minutes. Good traction on icy parking lots. Though have to watch small rocks that can get wedged in the rubber traction holes. I take them in our walk in shower as well. No slips or falls. Adjustment for height for leg length and arm length nice.
