Heat When You Need It
I love the Nature's Approach Aromatherapy Basic Herb Pack! I have purchased this in the past, and this year I bought three of them together - one for me, one for my sister and one for my mother-in-law (who is 95 years old). My hands get cold a lot, especially in the winter. I heat the pack up and hold onto it while sitting under a blanket watching TV. I also use it to take the chill out of my bed sheets at night. I hop in bed with the heated pack and it warms me right up pretty quickly. Under the blanket, it stays warm for a long time. It is very soothing. My sister is really enjoying her heat pack, too. She didn't know how much she would like it until she started using it. This heat pack works great and lasts a long time. I can't remember how long ago I purchased the first one. My husband uses it on his knee when it is sore. This is a great pack at a great price. You will love it!

Heat When You Need It
I love this heat pack! I have constant ear/jaw pain due to my jaw joint becoming dislocated. Heat really helps with nothing else does, and I have tried other gel microwavable heating packs, but the outer plastic usually always punctures/breaks down after a while and then I get hot gel everywhere (yikes!). I've heard about using rice, but also that the smell can be unpleasant... So when I found this I was very happy! The heat actually lasts longer than the gel ones did, and the herbs make for a pleasant and relaxing scent. A lot of times I end up having to sleep with my head/jaw resting on this when the pain otherwise would keep me from falling asleep and it works perfectly for that. Overall, i am very happy with this thing :)

Hot and cold
This is a great small size for a hot/cold pack. It works better as a warm pack than cold.The warmth worked well for my muscle strain on my neck and shoulders. It stayed warm as long as I needed it without any problems. Also the herbs aren't as strong smelling as some of the other aromatherapy packs so it didn't bother my sinuses. I kept it in the freezer for hours before use and it did not last long before the cold went away. If you need to use a cold pack longer than ten minutes, I recommend ice or that infamous bag of peas.

Not bad, love the scent this pad give off plus ...
I had an uncomfortable rash spread to my face and affected my eyes. I purchased the Natures Approach bean bag, put it into the freezer for a few hours and placed in on my face. The coonesshelped relieve the terrible itch almost immediately.I was a bit concerned tha the aroma may trigger another allergic response, but it didnt seem to. In fact, the scent is also soothing. It can also be placed in the microwave , directions on the packkage, on occasions that require heat therapy. Altogether, this product is a handy item to have. I keep it in the freezer so its alway ready for cold relief, It can go directly in the microwave if needed.

Better as warm pack
I own 10 of these. The first three were purchased in 2017 and still going strong. The scent is not important, the effectiveness is. I keep 5 in the freezer and 5 next to the microwave. During the winter it's heat and the summer its ice. I have severe nerve damage in my right arm and hand. I don't think I could function or get by without these. I use one every three hours. When I go to bed I use an actual ice bag for 4-5 hours, when I go to sleep I use this product. Morning, noon, late afternoon(2), late evening. I don't think you can find a better product or price. The only thing I wish is that one came unscented but after 3 years I am used to it.

Hot or cold it - it works!
My sister has been looking for a replacement for the one she bought at a craft show that finally wore out after 15 years and this did the trick. Size was right, smell is not overpowering. Happy with purchase

Heat When You Need It
Could not live without these. Seriously! Whether for pain, to keep warm or cold. (I started using them for menstrual cramps.) I put them in microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes. (For children or elderly cut time down.) Wish I knew how long I am going to live to make sure I have enough. I am cold natured, so I use them in winter to sleep with. With very little care, they last for years. I could live without the scent, but that diminishes fairly quickly. They are simply Devine. Can't recommend enough!

Microwave bean bags are a must have.
This is awesome for a natural heating pad. It’s a very convenient size not too big or too small. I heat it in the microwave and put it by my feet at night to keep them warm and it works perfectly for this. The reason for 4 not 5 stars is because at first the smell is way too strong and not pleasant at all! I adore natural, earthy scents but this combo of herbs smells disgusting! However, the scent dissipated very soon (a few days? A few weeks?) and so it no longer has any smell. But it works excellently.

I have 7 of these( I just got 4 more) that I keep in my freezer to use for my migraines and they are a god send! When I have a bad headache I was going thru the packs too quickly for them to get cold enough now no problem. They also work well in the microwave. I would reccomend these every time. They are awesome!

Great pain relief in the freezer or microwave!!!
I'm a little addicted to using this. The heat is so comforting. I use it for cramps and for general stress relief. I have not used it as a cold pack, only a heating pad. The herbs are great, I've had it for about 2 months and they still smell like new. The heat doesn't last long, I have to reheat it every ~10 minutes. If you don't want to get up, get an electric heating pad. If you want the smell, get this. I even brought it to a friend's house while I was cramping. All I had to do was microwave it for a minute, and go back to the couch. I didnt have to interrupt the party.

Great Pain Relief
It smells amazing, feels great, is easy to use. Microwave for 1-2 mins and you are good to. I have one of them forever, and then I broke it on accident and the rice inside went everywhere... So I needed to get a new one! That made me realize that the smell does fade away over time, but even down to the last moments I had my first one, it smelled lovely. Highly recommend A++++

Comforting
I've been using a similar brand, virtually the same product that I bought at a mall kiosk years ago and this one does exactly what I expected. It has a very pleasant ...not over-powering aroma as well. My only complaint is that it seems overpriced ...which kept me from buying another one ...at least for now!

Well made and smells great.
Smells great. I don’t heat these, although you can. I use them as cooling packs. I bought a bunch of. Packs marketed as Heaven Scent 15-20 yrs ago. Slightly diff scent and I loved them …..still have but pretty much have lost their scent. These are as close as I have found.
