Insignia TV with Fire TV.
Doesn't work / Can't install on my Insignia TV with Fire TV. Why can't this just work on All fire TVs? .... UPDATE... it works just fine now

Worthless!!! The App is a joke.
So I installed the apple tv app on my fire stick with zero problems. So far it works normally so I then try to sign in to my apple account but it had a little bit of an issue on the sign in part. But I soon discovered that it was due to the firestick need to be updated so I did that and the sign in part finally works. In my review on testing the app, the video quality playback plays good, it kept it visual quality performance perfectly without any problems. Now the apple tv plus hasn't came out yet so for now I'm giving it four stars. Good video quality and playback work perfectly and you can access your apple account library of movies and tv shows videos you owned, there might be a chance that you may get struggle on sign in at first, but if you update your firestick it should fix it.

Apple tv somewhat nice start
Love that this is finally available... I’ve been contemplating on buying an Apple TV box, but the $200 cost had me waiting, luckily this saves me the cost. I’ve been waiting all summer. I added it to my firestick today and it is working great! Watching movies from my library. My only complaint so far is it isn’t available for my Toshiba FireTV... luckily I have several fire sticks and can get around that.

Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen with 3rd Gen Alexa Voice Remote
This 3rd Generation FireTV Stick now comes with the 3rd Generation Alexa Voice Remote, allowing for more control over your applications and TV experience. This new Alexa Voice Remote 3rd Generation was recently released, and I have reviewed it already as I have been using it with my FireTV Cube. Currently it appears as though this FireTV Stick 3rd Gen is the only device that ships with this new remote, as the FireTV Stick Lite, FireTV Stick 4K, and FireTV Cube all are currently shipping with older remotes. PROS: SPEED- This is the biggest upgrade if in my opinion if you are coming from a 2nd generation device. The specs mention that this 3rd generation is “50% more powerful,” and you can definitely tell the difference in navigating menus and loading applications. This is probably the biggest reason to upgrade from Gen 2. DOLBY ATMOS – This might not be a big deal for many people, but support for the Dolby Atmos specification is nice for audiophiles with home speaker systems that can make use of it. REMOTE – As I mentioned in my review of this new remote, the main additions are the “Channel Guide” button, that brings up the menu to watch live TV if you have that set up; and the four App Buttons- for quickly launching Prime Video, Netflix, Disney Plus, and Hulu. The remote also allows control of your TV through power and volume buttons that are not available in the FireTV Stick Lite. CONS: NO 4K- This version does not support 4K video streaming, and I wouldn't imagine that it will be supported in the future either, because there is a FireTV Stick 4K product that exists if you want that feature. That FireTV Stick 4K is still shipping with the older 2nd generation Alexa Voice Remote currently though, (the one with a TV power button but no app buttons or channel guide button), so that's kind of disappointing. All in all, this to me is worth the upgrade from and older FireTV Stick, mainly because of the speed difference but also the newer remote is nice to have. If 4K matters to you, you might want to wait and grab the FireTV Stick 4K version when they eventually start shipping it with the new Gen 3 remote. The Lite version doesn't really seem like it would be worth it in most situations, because for only $10 less you lose Atmos support and all of the TV controls (power, volume, channel guide, app buttons, etc)

Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen with 3rd Gen Alexa Voice Remote
I gave up cable for the obvious reasons. Skyrocket high cost for commercial TV, infomercials, and reality shows. All the good programming is now available on streaming. Once I finally cut the cable cord, my TV just sat there unused while I watched everything on my computer which is not always comfortable. So, I got this for when I’m in bed and glad I did. This is my first experience and only had it for a week now and happy with it. The only gripe so far is that Peacock doesn’t have an app and absolutely can’t be seen by this device, despite the claims on the web. I’ve seen the other reviews where they post complaints and all that I can say is it works for me.

Loving it so far
All I needed was the remote. My offspring killed my old fire stick remote to the point where no battery could revive it. So I checked online and Best Buy and could not find just a plain ol remote. I wasn’t waiting for Billybob on eBay to send me one from Kansas. So I went back to Best Buy to buy this whole contraption. Figured I’d just use the remote. BUT NO. Jeff Bezos didn’t let me. It was not compatible with the old fire stick. For someone who is trying to save the earth somehow by going to space, he sure loves for us to throw out his useless fire sticks. Maybe that’s why his wife left him. He probably had a useless fire stick too. So I had to go through the painstaking process of setting up a new fire stick, finding all my Netflix, hulu and Disney passwords that haven’t been entered in ages. All in all it’s a solid device.

2nd take it worked
Just received my firestick and installed with ease, its a lot faster with loading apps and super convenient with the newly added home buttons for Prime, Netflix, Disney, and Hulu which is a big plus in my book. Definitely an upgrade to my previous firestick(1st Gen). Also the Alexa feature works so well just like an echo or an echo show. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the delivery was poorly executed. It arrived a day late and as you can see from the picture it looks like it was ran over and forgotten(must be why it was a day late). Other than that I recommend to anyone who’s looking for an upgrade or to buy their first Firestick

All I needed was the remote…why?
Love this! It's nice to only have one remote again! Works perfectly with the TV, and it has my favorite apps as short-cut buttons. Set-up was quick, easy, and straightforward.

Awesome Device!!
Plugged it into an HDMI port on my Sony AV Receiver (this is what you want if you have an AV home theater sound system), entered my wifi password and it started downloading updates. I used the included HDMI extender to make the Firestick stick out above the top of the AV Receiver, giving it line of sight to my wifi router. This is better than the Firestick hiding behind the TV, blocking the wifi signal. They made most of the sign in process pretty easy to where you sign in on your computer/phone/ipad instead of having to use the remote to enter passwords. You enter a short code from your TV screen and it does the rest. The main reason for buying this is I have a Samsung Smart TV and was using the built in apps for Prime Video, but almost every single time I try to go to apps it stops and won't connect. This means there's yet ANOTHER Samsung update, and to trigger it I have to turn the TV off and on, to make it start downloading. I finally got fed up with this happening almost every day. And for whatever reason, there is no Apple TV app available to install. (I have 1 year free Apple TV from buying an Apple product.) This is my first Firestick so I can't compare it to previous versions, but it has a fast response to remote control inputs, changing selections or whatever. I don't have Alexa spying on me so I have no comment about voice control.

Fire TV Stick 3rd Gen with 3rd Gen Alexa Voice Remote
Plugged it in, followed the directions, everything worked without a problem. It did a software update for both the device and the remote, and setting up access to the various services was easily done thru the web method. I'm not totally impressed by the web browser, but I've been disappointed in those since the late 90's WebTV, so it's not a huge surprise. Overall, for the money I would say this device is a bargain.

Setup went without a hitch
I heard so much about this device! But, I never needed one or used it before because, "MY", television was always directly connected to the cable television line, regardless to whoever was paying for the cable bill. Fast forward to June 24, 2021, in the months prior to this date, I became increasingly interested in what the power of the, "INTERNET" and "TELEVISION", can do! That's when I discovered what a device like this Fire TV Stick and other devices like this can do! If, you don't know people, let me tell what this device is all about! This is for, "ALL", the older people out there and people for one reason or another who have been reluctant to keep up with current technology and have a million questions about it and how to do this or how to do that! "LISTEN UP", this Fire TV Stick allows you to connect to your home's, "WI-FI", network! Which, would then allow you to connect to the internet, provided by your cable or satellite service, in order to download additional apps (FOR VIEWING MOVIES AND/OR TELEVISION SHOWS, ETC, ETC.) not provided by the Fire TV Stick already, to a television with a HDMI port on it, that's "NOT", directly connected to the, "CORD", used to get cable television or the internet! Essentially, it brings a flat screen t.v. all the goodies, you'd expect from a t.v. that's directly connected to cable, that's all, there you go in a nutshell and it works like a charm! Just follow the instructions that came with it! However, you do have to look for the HDMI port you connected this Fire TV Stick to and select that as your t.v. connection (NOT AIR, ANTENNA OR WHATEVER) after you connect this device to your t.v.! Then, continue on with the setup process! The instructions DO NOT state that, though! It just assumes you already know to do that, as you're reading the instructions and that could throw some people off who aren't tech savvy! "GOOD LUCK", this is a, "GREAT", device!

2nd time is a charm
Not much difference from previous editions and streaming is streaming the quality and quantity is mediocre to say the least. People talk about cutting the cord. Here is the bottom line you can cut if you want but by the time your through subscribing to apps and plus apps and app extra your paying what you were paying before and you still need internet so your paying for that. The old adage nothing is free is the bottom line.

The stick
I have had this for almost a month now and haven’t experienced any issues. I needed to upgrade my old firestick because that one blacked out on me and stopped working but I had that one for years. I really like this firestick though. I like the easy access buttons to get to Hulu or Netflix. That may seem lazy to some people but I like it ?? I always buy the warranty on these items, just in case anything goes wrong. I will say the only thing I don’t like about it is when I pause it to leave the room because I need to do laundry or whatever, it will go back to the main screen. My old firestick didn’t do that. That part can be annoying because then I have to go back in the app and find what I was watching and resume play again. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase. Hopefully they update that so it doesn’t stay that way. I am going to buy another one for my living room.
