Works with Teams on Win10 x64
Reviewing Logitech C920x Pro HD Webcam - I plugged in the camera and Win10 recognized it immediately. No need to go find drivers. No need to install LogiTech SW. It just worked. I fired up Teams with no issues. I have my home office. I have my work office. And I have a workstation in the other building. I need to be able to use Teams because most of the company is working remotely. I saw the C920x at $69 and bought 2. Now I wish I would have bought 5 or more. I would give them to some of my co-workers ... so tired of looking at nostrils! The Test Engineer in me wonders if other people with Win10/Teams issues are having conflicting SW issues as both Teams and the LogiTech SW have background editing tools. Hmmm ... idk. Yes, that is an actual photo backdrop. I'm winning the (unofficial) video-conferencing competition.

No more Zeiss lens which make this webcam stand out
You know that feeling you get when you're holding a well-built item? The adjustable hinges on this webcam are as good as they can possibly be. Easy to adjust. This is the go-to first webcam for new streamers. Handles 1080p resolution 60fps well (I recommend using 720p 30fps if you stream to help out with bandwidth issues if your internet isn't the best, trust). It IS mountable on a tripod so that's nice. At stock price, it's amazing. Try NOT to purchase from resellers. This item should be around $70-$80. Don't support their business if they're trying to scalp you for $110+.

The "x" in the description and on the box is for the free 3 months of Xsplit software (via a code printed on a small pamphlet inside the box) and has nothing to do with the camera model. In the box is the Logitech C920 camera. I have it plugged into my Dell XPS 15 9500 (2020 model) running Windows 10 Pro and didn't have to install any drivers or software. I use it with Zoom. No pop ups, no errors, it's 100% plug n' play. Picture quality is a huge improvement from the base camera in my laptop. Crazy that in 2020 laptop camera quality is still an issue. Other than that, it's a webcam and performs as advertised.

There's a Reason Resellers Keep Buying Them All Out
OH EM GEEEEEEE my new webcam is EVERYTHING!!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 It is like 2000% better than my MacBook cam. Why didn't I think to purchase a new webcam sooner?! It took me having a Zoom meeting with my friend who is a podcast host to realize how inferior my mac book cam is. Consider investing in this model if you participate in WFH online meetings more than once a month or host web series/ podcast. I am very happy with my purchase.

Works with Windows 10, no issues
I have been using more OBS (Open Broadcasting) software that allows more than one camera at once in a feed. I tried to save money with cheaper off brand webcams ($25 and $15). Both terrible and a waste of money even though they had five star reviews. This camera is great! It works well for close up shots to about 6" on circuit boards. I do wish I could lock the focus close us as auto focus is a bit slow and I am doing close up work with this camera.

Blown Away By Quality
I bought one of these for my wife after using one myself for several years. I teach online so my camera gets constant use. The image quality is terrific, especially after using the setup software to increase the camera resolution. The camera is plug-and-play, requiring no setup in either Windows or Ubuntu Linux. The only minor complaints I have are that images are dim in low light (make sure your face is well-lit from the front!) and that it occasionally re-focuses spontaneously and causes a few seconds of blurred video. But 99 percent of the time the image is excellent. Audio quality is very good too, but the microphone can be overdriven, causing distorted sound. This is seldom a problem for voice calls but if you're using it for something louder like an acoustic instrument you should turn down the microphone gain in either the camera setup or the application itself, and make sure from the person on the other end that they're not hearing distortion. With the mic properly set you get decent audio fidelity, no matter what your sound source is. My biggest complaint about this webcam has nothing to do with the device itself. It's too popular. It's almost always sold out at the Logitech store, and when they do make some available, they are snapped up by resellers who scalp them at a $15-$30 premium. It would be helpful if Logitech would limit the number people could buy to give more people a chance to get this great camera at a more reasonable price.

It is worth the price!
The C920 series in the end is the best of a bad bunch. Personally I think the Wirecutter and other sites oversell this as it pales in comparison to using a full fledged camera as a webcam. It is a bit better than the internal camera on a Dell laptop, but the mic is very poor in comparison, so I would rely on an external USB mic instead. This unfortunately is common across all webcams. Out of box, this has the best quality of any webcams I tested between Nexigo N660P which was about neck and neck with this, it it weren’t that the default settings and software were ultimately a let down. Make no mistake, the C920 is not the best camera at all, but it is the best and easiest dedicated webcam to use at its price point. Probably the Brio is going to be much better but it is also about 4 times more expensive. Also I do prefer to to adjust the settings just a bit to increase the saturation and contrast, otherwise it is fine and no one will notice or care much either way. I have purchased the C920S after returning this one since the S has the lens cover which is necessary for privacy. One thing no one mentions is that there is a slight Bokeh effect in the far distance of the image: this is good for taking away attention from the background and putting focus on you as the subject, but subjectively for image quality the N660P looks better because it has edge to edge sharpness. I only kept this over the N660P because the default settings were acceptable while the N660P default were a bit bad. This itself makes it easier to use because most if not all webcams will reset to default after the computer is reset which is a critical issue - the only resolution is a bit of burdensome programming, or a proprietary software that may or may not be available or even recommended.

Well-designed, well-built, well-supported
From what I’ve seen this is the best 1080p camera you can get that doesn’t have spyware built into it. Feels a bit overpriced at $70 but with everyone teleworking you can’t really get it new for cheaper (thought it used to be 25% less than this on a bad day). Picture is great and it’s plug and play. No issues with image quality or the microphone. Only problem I’ve had is the autofocus. The software needs some work. It had a tendency to shift out of focus every so often and not refocus itself, especially after prolonged use. Not sure what the issue is but I’m knocking off a star because it’s annoying. Only other thing is change is to make the lip on the front part of the mount a bit smaller. Nice monitors are bezel-less these days and the large lip covers up a bit of screen while providing minimal stability benefits.

Best of a bad bunch - could be better, but easiest to use
Although the image and mic quality on this camera is great for general use, there is a flaw that makes it less than perfect. In dimmer environments, the autofocus isn't able to stay put and produces an audible click for people in your video call if you have the webcam set as your mic. The click is quiet but constant and only stops if you increase the lighting in the scene.

Great camera, autofocus needs work
I'll say it to start -- this is the best, clearest, most crisp and easy to use webcam out there for Windows 10. I only buy Logitech webcams after trying the cheap alternatives and being repeatedly disappointed. This Logitech c920x has an outstanding picture, great sound and works well out of the box after plugging it in to a USB post. It works well with Teams, Zoom, Google Chat, Skype and the rest. I bought and tried others only to return them. I love this excellent webcam so much I just bought a second one for my Windows 10 laptop so I can keep it in its bag, ready for travel (someday when we can safely travel again, of course). :) I cannot recommend this webcam enough. Yes it costs more than the cheap versions, but it is worth it and you can see and experience the real difference. Enjoy. :)

What a great camera this is! Great price too at a time when webcams have become like Bigfoot...many reports of their existence but only a few people have actually found one lol. After reading from others I was a little concerned about this being a legit C920. Many places around the web claim it's a Chinese clone but after receiving it, there's no doubt it's a Logitech webcam. The box has Logitech product code and Logitech instructions are included. I read one reply from a Logitech associate that stated the C920x is not an official product. That leads me to believe this is a promo item or something. Clearly it isn't packaged in a retail box designed for shelf display. It's no doubt a C920 though ith the addition of a free trial of Xsplit. I don't have any desire to try or use Xsplit but I'm happy I was able to grab a C920 cam for just $70, which is $10 lower than current MSRP and about $20-$30 lower than the camera is selling elsewhere. The only thing I can figure about other reviews here stating it's blurry or auto focus doesn't work is they either got a bad camera or need to change their lighting or settings. This thing is crystal clear! It picks up every line and blemish on my face so...it may be a little too clear, revealing my age lol. When dialed in under the right lighting, it picks up individual hairs on my head and beard stubble. If you have a good front light, placed just behind the camera and no overly bright lights behind you and you're having problems with the image or focus then I would suggest that you simply are unlucky enough to have gotten an individually defective camera....it happens. I use a 10" ring light in front, a lesser bright fill light on the side and indirect, colored led light behind and the image is perfect! 1080 is nearly as good an image as my daughter's DSLR camera... NEARLY! Not bad for a $70 camera vs $700 camera

No more Zeiss lens which make this webcam stand out
The photo above is a screenshot from my daughters twitch stream where she uses the camera. The video quality is clear and the camera is very easy to install/use. Only issue we had with focusing ended up being a fingerprint on the lense causing the business which was easily corrected with cleaning it off and it was immediately clear again.

Really Great >$100 Camera!!
I was worried about Mac compatibility based on some fo the reviews here, but went ahead and ordered this webcam. Once it came in, just plugged it in, opened by videoconference app, picked the C920x camera for video, and the C920x for audio and I was good to go with absolutely no problems. I keep by macbook closed, with an external monitor connected through USB-C, with the keyboard, mouse, and now the webcam, all plugged into USB-A ports on the monitor. The C920x webcam, I put on top of the monitor, and it all works together fabulously. I no longer ever have to open my laptop.

Great quality videos
The media could not be loaded. This camera is a very solid webcam for most usual webcam activity. I use it for college classes and the occasional YouTube video and can say I am generally pleased with the quality. It gives a much better picture than most of you $100 and under webcams and is an easy plug-and-use setup. Computer recognizes it immediately and all you have to do is change the preferred camera to the C920 in whatever you want to use it in (Discord, Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Not giving it 5 stars because the quality still leaves a little something to wish for. I attached one of my Youtube channel videos (channel is: Paul O'Donnell) for a reference of quality. I only use the video aspect of the camera for the video and use a separate mic for audio. The mic on the C920 is still good for meetings and such, but if you do wish to use it to stream or make videos I would recommend getting a mic. Overall I would definitely recommend this product for anyone who meets online a lot or wants a good intro camera for content creation.

Plug and play worked perfectly fine for a mac laptop
I also bought a 6 foot USB extension to add to the 5 foot USB cable that is attached to this unit. I tested its features on Zoom but I'm sure it'll work as well using Teams, Skype or any other similar program. The field of view is fairly wide and the image is very clear. The unit fits and adjusts for up and down angle very easily on a 25.5-inch ASUS monitor. The mounting design of this webcam makes it very adjustable for different thicknesses and sizes of monitors. I made a crude but effective sliding lens cover out of a chunk of polyethylene I had in the garage. This is a very good webcam for money and quality is as expected by Logitech.

One of the best cameras for under $100
This is my second C920x Pro after I gave the first one to my wife. I originally bought this to use my larger monitor as my primary but not have my everyone looking at the side of my head during zoom calls. It's very easy to set up and the separately installable Logi Capture software works relatively well. It allows you to add effects like frames or text and digitally zoom in. You can then select the Logi Capture video feed in conferencing apps and will get the adjusted view. I use this to zoom in since my monitor is not as close to me as a laptop would normally be. However, I do not like that the Capture software is permanently recording (hence the blue lights on the webcam). There might be a way to have it automatically start when a zoom/teams/webex/whatever meeting starts but I haven't found it yet. Overall, picture quality and autofocusing has been good. I know one person who had issues with autofocusing but it turned out to be a hardware defect and they got it replaced. I know several who have had this camera for many years and my older, 1.5 year old camera is just as good as this new one. The original one I bought had a privacy screen included but this does not. That's unfortunate but easy enough to create a makeshift one. Plus the blue lights make it clear when the camera is supposed to be live. I have never used the speakers on this camera and generally do not use the microphone since I have a dedicated mic. In the few cases that I have, people have preferred it to the built-in laptop one which had a lot of static. The USB cable is adequately long so it will work just fine for desktop users. Unfortunately, the cable is not replaceable so when my cat chews through this it will be time for a new webcam.

No included lens cover but overall a great webcam
I ordered this webcam for WebEx and MS Teams meetings that we have for work. I took it out of the box maybe ten minutes before the WebEx today, and it worked like a charm. I used the virtual background, and there were issues there- if I moved from my original position, the silhouette of my head in the original position appeared on screen and other attendees could only see whatever part of me was in view within the silhouette sometimes. Other times I could be seen fully, but the “cut out”, as I’ll refer to it, still remained on screen. I am not 100% sure that’s due to the camera though. I also didn’t love the automatic light adjustment. I changed it to manual, and it was much better. That could be a WebEx issue though. Great camera for the price! Nice picture, and super easy to use.

Great, reliable camera
The manufacturer makes a quality product and stands behind it...after receiving the item and spending unnecessary amount of time to get it to function I contacted Logitech directly and they fixed the prob asap! This product is not compatible with chrome period. Google doesn't have an extension available for this model, nor is there a third party function available at present time. The challenge was the seller indicates that its compatible with just about everything, when in fact it is not...Logitech apologized and indicated that they are not responsible to what sellers claim about their product...enjoy!

Plug and go, as described; great value
There's only five pictures on the package to set this up but you will probably have at least five questions when you plug it in. Scratch around long enough and you can find the online manual. If you're a Mac user there is no manual... the Mac has the drivers built in so all you do is change the View setting in whatever app you're using (Zoom, or Facetime, or whatever). The camera won't show up in the Finder so be warned. Windows users need to download drivers and install. Once running, it's seamless.

logitech is great stuff
He has a lot of conference calls for his work, and this was perfect for Zoom or Teams. Easy, connect, and play. He doesn't use the mic, but I heard it's not as good as the camera quality. I was considering even higher price ones, but this product seems to have the best for its price and for our use. This is the same as 920. Don't let x fool you. This product comes with a free app. That's the reason it is called 920x, but you will receive the Logitech 920.
