Great replacement for previous Sony Headphones
We love the new ear cups, smaller headband, charging station and sound quality and noise cancellation. We purchased these after my husbands older Sony headphone broke. We use these for viewing television and it makes every word clear and easily understandable (ie. British shows).

Beware If Sold by "NeeGo" ... Suspected Fake Product
I've been buying and wearing headphones for more than 15 years. This is the first ones that provides the sound (from bass to treble) and the loudness levels that allow me to hear the TV clearly EVEN WITHOUT MY HEARING AIDS. That's a first. The loudness range is also the best I've ever had. Very comfortable and, as an aside, I didn't even think about the noise cancellation until my wife left in the morning. She always says, "Goodbye" as she leaves and I didn't hear a word and realized she had already gone. Always heard her in the past, but the noise cancellation must have worked.

Great replacement for previous Sony Headphones
I don't know sound quality off hand, as it was a gift for my Dad. He is hard of hearing, so it was a gift for all of us, so he wouldn't need to have the tv so loud. It was easy to set up and he seems to be very happy with them

BEST HEADPHONES UNDER $100 I'VE EVER HAD!
Headphones fit very well. Sound cancellation is great. I bought them to use on my tv, unfortunately the tiv has an optic port that's not working. So, I plugged them into my PC to watch movies and listen to music. They work FANTASTIC! Now I can enjoy without bothering anyone else. Volume control is a little tricky to feel, but I got the knack of it. Thanks

The genuine Sony product is far superior to the no name junk . I have bought both, The Sony fits perfectly Its easy to attach and doesn’t fall off w wear. I will ONLY buy the genuine in the future.

**Years ago my wife bought a Sony headset for me. Over the years the ear pads started deteriorating and finally would fall off of the headset. The wee little elastic bands that secures the pads to the headset weakened and finally one of them broke. The new pads I ordered are much improved with a mesh-like attachment layer and elastic band that installs remarkably easy and ever-so securely. No more having to wrestle an ear pad elastic layer back into the earphone slot is a pleasure and a relief. Imagine, new technology for earphone pads ... what next?**

Perfect replacement for the deteriorating ear pads in my pretty old Sony TMR-RF985R phones/unit. Improved material and better design are great. And thank goodness YouTube had several helpful videos on how to get them on. I honestly thought I had bought a size too small until I turned to YouTube. Easy to put on after that.

Once installed they stay put.
It's worth the extra $$ to buy the name brand. The cheaper replacement pads just do not fit the headphones. These are made from better quality materials and the fit is perfect.

Great replacements (with help from YouTube)
I read reviews that nearly scared me away about these pads being hard to install. Actually they are easy to install, once you accept that it is OK to stretch them a bit to get them to engage the groove in the ear cup. Don't worry, stretch them a bit, just enough, they are made to take it. For me total installation time was 2 minutes. Once installed they are as good as the original cushions.

I absolutely love our wireless earphones, particularly since my husband can watch TV while I read a book right beside him. Have to have the ear covers to make things more comfortable. These covers are excellent for that.

Actually quite easy to install
My primary criticism is that for a cost of $25, written installation instructions should have been included in the packaging. Thankfully, I located a YouTube video that quickly demonstrated how to install the replacement ear pads.

Important for comfort
They fit well and are pretty good at blocking out surrounding noises. They are comfortable even with my glasses. I have had my headphones for probably 3 years now and they still work well.

installation instructions needed
I was so happy that I found these. I didn't even know you could replace them but glad I don't have to mess with having the black pieces all over me. Now they look like they just came out of the box.

Spend more for brand name
I was so glad I found these. My headphones were old and falling apart, leaving black pieces of the old cushions everywhere. The new ones were easy to install

Better than original
Bought these for my mom who uses the MDR-RFP98R to listen to TV. Her other Ear pads were slowly shredding. Put these on in a few minutes and they fit perfectly.

Easy to install
Over time, the black stuff peels off so i had to replace. They are not to easy to install but they fit and replace old ones great!

Renewed ear pieces
The headphone still looks with this ear pads like new. i give on noise cancellation four stars because i have another y headphone Sony WH-H900N that noise cancellation is superior but more expensive.

Genuine Sony replacement
As good as a new headset ! From what I have read I think these are better than the new ones . The 30 hour use time on a charge is great.
