Olympus Tokyo vintage microscope base assembly with integrated iris diaphragm, rotating/centering stage ring, and swing‑out double‑sided mirror. Heavy cast-metal housing. Marked “OLYMPUS TOKYO” on the sub‑stage plate. This appears to be the lower/base section from an older Olympus transmitted‑light stand (exact model unknown). Includes: integrated iris diaphragm visible at the top opening, rotating/centering stage ring with two knurled centering screws, side lock knob, and a swing‑out mirror/diffuser for illumination. A large circular side port is present (see photos) along with threaded stage/attachment holes on top. Missing any upper stage plate and other superstructure—sold exactly as shown for parts, repair, or reuse.
Condition note: From a closing industrial facility. Untested but presumed to be working well. Cosmetically shows wear, dust, oxidation, scratches, and finish loss on the mirror and top plate. Please review all photos for what is included and overall condition.
