Very good alternative to Pro Controller
I was a bit skeptical that such a cool looking controller would be decent but I was pleasantly surprised (I bough the Mario version). I tried it on Mega Man 11 and Street Fighter just to see the responsiveness and it passed with flying colors. The extra buttons seem well placed and easy to use but I haven't tried them out yet. Seems like you could hit them by accident but again, I haven't actually set them up. Controller is easy to set up BTW. Just one button needed to sync unlike some other controllers. So why four stars? Well it is AA battery powered, so not rechargeable. Not a huge deal and I kind of like being able to just add batteries instead of waiting for it to charge. But it is an extra expense you have to deal with. Batteries lasted pretty good so far. I ahve about 8 hours of play on it and it still works fine. Also, a point off for no rumble function. Not a huge deal for me but worth mentioning. And finally, it's not red all over. Would have been really cool but it's still decent looking with the black back panel. Overall, very nice controller and I will prob order the zelda one soon.

Very good alternative to Pro Controller
Great purchase if you love animal crossing and much easier to use than the joy cons I wanted this cause my dog looks a lot like him haha I’m very happy with this purchase UPDATE there is no rumble in this controller

Great Switch Controller
I am confused as to why people are saying it feels cheap. The weight on the controller is perfectly fine. I don’t think it feels cheap, it’s a perfectly good and working controller with a gorgeous design. If you are using to play animal crossing new horizons, you really are not going to need extraneous play on a controller. I have played acnh with this and it works perfectly fine.

Easy to sync and much easier to play with than joy cons
Tldr - Great controller but at full msrp price of around $45 Id would either wait for a sale or just get the procontroller. Unless you'd go through the extra effort like me I love this controller it's amazing for games like Warframe and Daemon X Machina. The extra buttons helps with things like sprinting and jumping. The controller itself is really light so I had to open it up and add some weights into it. Also due to molding all PowerA Enhanced controllers I've had so far has had the right reprogamable button slightly sunken in. You also can't assign the buttons to stick presses.

Does NOT feel cheap or light to me
Dead easy to set up, came with a set of batteries so you can use it straight out of the box. The plastic feels quality and the movement of the joysticks is very smooth tacitly. Only had it for a day and considering purchasing another. My only qualm is that the D Pad is set in a bit further on the controller than I'm used to on the Switch. Which would be a selling point for someone with larger hands, but I find the spacing a bit awkward and hard to adjust to. Over all pretty thrilled with this controller and would definitely reccomend.

A great controller alternative with a few things you'd have to deal with
Coming from an xbox to the switch, the controller is really good. Buttons feel okay and the thumb sticks feel very similar to the Xbox one controllers. The left thumb stick doesn't have as much resistance as the right allowing for smoother directional motion while the right thumb stick has a little more resistance to help get that perfect aim. The remappable buttons on the back are a great addition which I would gladly take over rumble and nfc as I don't use amiibos and usually turn off rumble features. Some cons I would say are the controller is pretty light and it takes AA batteries. You will save some money buying this controller, but if the pro controller drops down to 50-55 bucks just pick that one up. This is still a great alternative though and something I can easily recommend especially with the remappable buttons. ??

Easy Peasy
This is a nice controller overall if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the pro controller. I haven’t played around with the shortcut buttons, but I’m sure they would offer an advantage and convenience. Design and colors are great, mostly why I purchased it, however I personally find it a little less hefty and sturdy as the pro, and the space between the left joystick and left d-pad a little too wide for certain games such as MK11 or smash, and sometimes I do experience button lag probably due to the batteries losing juice, however for more casual gaming and the design it is perfect. This is not rechargeable, and requires batteries. Battery life depends on how much you play it, I’ve only had to switch them about twice since purchasing. I’d recommend this controller if you’re more about design than performance, especially in competitive gaming. I ended up also purchasing the pro, and if you’re okay with replacing batteries and the more plastic-like feel, then I recommend it.

**Good controller with convenient button mapping**
I was super excited about getting this controller, mostly because I'm an avid Animal Crossing player/collector. This controller isn't exactly as I had in mind when I ordered it. It's very lightweight and feels a bit cheap, but at least it's pretty! I'll probably be displaying it more than using it, tbh :P I don't regret my purchase, but if you're coming here to get a high quality hand-feel controller, maybe look elsewhere!

Very good alternative to Pro Controller
This controller is not bad, however it's not great either. It's a very good solution if you have enough people in your house to merit having to buy more controllers and you want to save $20. That comes at the removal of the rumble part of the controller, which also makes it feel lighter and cheaper. The controller I purchased works great! Always detected by the Switch and no issues aside from having to change the batteries without warning (get re-chargeable batteries). It has two programmable buttons on the underside that I've never used, but maybe you'll like them? Overall, I'd recommend saving up for the actual Nintendo controller. However if you don't mind missing out on the rumble and want to get some fun patterns (could be a good solution if you have kids that fight over controllers so they each have their own?), these will work just fine.

Save Up for an Authentic Nintendo Controller
Different than the Nintendo Controller. I would say this Controller overall is good, but very different than the Nintendo controller. If you want the best, then get the Nintendo Controller. It is more comfortable to use and has better performance overall. This is great as additions to the Nintendo controllers you already have for a variety of reasons. + Cheaper + removable batteries + 2 extra remappable buttons - missing rumble and NFC - buttons have less satisfying tactile feedback - buttons make more noise - controller feels cheaper and lighter - slightly less comfortable ergonomics vs the Pro controller. Overall these are great controllers to add onto having your own pro controller so you can play multiplayer games and have additional controllers for other people to use for playing Mario Cart or Smash brothers. I would not have this as my only controller, but will buy more for others to use.

DON'T BUY OTHER BRANDS ON HERE!! This is even better than the Nintendo one!!
Picked this controller up during Prime Day. Was concerned that the low price for a wireless controller would mean a vastly inferior product. I was sorely mistaken (and happily surprised). The controller sits in my hand much better than the Joy-Con controller pad, and has real joysticks as opposed to little nubs on the Joy-Cons. This controller was a breeze to connect, and even after 30+ hours of playing to date, I'm still on the first pair of AA batteries. The controller also has motion control built-in, so it works fine for games that use it. The only "downside" is that the controller feels a little light and some of the added programmable buttons on the back rattle a bit (not the highest build quality in the market), but nothing has broken nor does it stand in the way from the controller working as advertised. Overall I'm extremely happy with this and glad I bought it!

Good Cheap Controller
I have zero complaints. This item is as advertised, and the battery life is decent. Yes, I did run out the batteries in only 4 days -- but we're a family of 3 and someone is running it almost constantly. We already have a battery charger in the house though, so getting some rechargeables is no issue. It synched to my Switch flawlessly, the battery cover is the perfect middle ground between hard to remove by accident but not too difficult to remove when necessary. It has already survived being dropped numerous times and shows no signs of wear. It also feels more responsive and precise than one of the cheaper generic pro controllers. This immediately became my favorite controller in the house. I wish it came with a built-in rechargeable battery, but ultimately that's a minor inconvenience for my family and worth it to have the adorable pikachu controller. :D More expensive controllers may exist, but I cannot imagine them being any better quality than this, as I couldn't even imagine what to improve. NOTE: i have not tried the programmable extra buttons and as such have no opinion on them. My style of gameplay does not require them.

Tremendous controller for a great price with only very minor issue
I purchased one for myself and my boyfriend for our Nintendo Switches. I think the batteries do power through for the 30 hours (we personally have to replace them about every 2-4 weeks depending on gameplay, but I'd rather do this than charge it every night). I don't mind not having HD rumble, and for Animal Crossing I appreciate it because when you catch a large fish it can be wayyy too much. I also love the 2 extra programmable buttons on the back. I currently have one set to the B button, so I can easily jump in Fortnite and run in ACNH. They sync immediately to my switch. My only con is that the triggers rattle A LOT, but it's not noticeable when you're playing. I would 100% purchase these again!

100%
I compared the Ralthy controller to the official Nintendo Pro controller (henceforth "Pro controller"). In short, the Pro controller is far superior and the better purchase. Read on below to understand why I think so. HAND COMFORT The most important aspect of a controller is how it feels in your hand — after all, if you're going to be playing for hours, you want it to be comfortable. The Ralthy controller is not nearly as comfortable or ergonomic as the Pro controller; it feels flat in parts where the Pro controller comfortably hugs your hand. This seems independent of hand size, as my girlfriend also agrees and she has very small hands (whereas I can easily palm a basketball). BUTTON PLACEMENT The placement of the buttons and joysticks on the Ralthy controller are subtly different than on the Pro controller and — in the opinion of both my gf and I — the positions are worse. Many of the buttons as well as the right joystick are less comfortable/harder to reach. This is especially true of the L/R trigger buttons. They FEEL like triggers on the Pro controller, whereas on the Ralthy controller it's a very large button which is much harder to pull with your finger. Also, the official controller has two additional buttons on the grip which are missing on the Ralthy controller. BUILD QUALITY The Pro controller is constructed out of slightly lighter plastic, so although it's slightly lighter it doesn't feel as sturdy or durable as the Ralthy controller. I feel like if I dropped it, the plastic would chip / crack, whereas the Ralthy controller's plastic feels tougher and would more likely just dent if I dropped it. BATTERIES The Ralthy controllers have a built in rechargeable battery, which can be handy, but today's batteries do eventually get worse with time. Invariably at some point in the future the Ralthy controller will become unusable because the internal battery will hold no charge. In contrast, I like the fact that the Pro controller uses AA batteries, which means in theory as long as that type of battery exists this controller should be usable forever. Also, the Ralthy controller seemed to need a recharge after a long day of gaming but I have yet to need to replace the batteries on the Pro controller with about the same amount of usage. PRICE The Ralthy controller costs about $15 less than the official Nintendo Pro controller, which makes it a tempting option for some people (including me). I decided to get both and see which I liked best and share those results with you so you can make a better decision. Sorry Ralthy, but in my opinion I would much rather pay an additional $15 for superior comfort, button placement, and the ability to always be able to use the controller far into the future.

Although more expensive than an off-brand controller I tried, it's worth it
First, I would like to say that I'm a sucker for turqoise, having grown up with a GameBoy Color of said color; the minute I saw this, I HAD to have it. Now, on to the main things to say, I got Power A's wireless GameCube controller with Christmas money, and fell for it right away; however, the button layout mostly works for Smash Bros. Ultimate, since some Switch games don't give you control-change options. With this in mind, I decided to look into getting one of these when I could afford it. Day one, I played with it quite a bit, playing three maps in Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition to test out its button latency, and control, and I can safely say that both control sticks work like a charm, the buttons feel natural to press, and even the shortcut buttons on the back help quite a bit! I currently have them set for the left and right d-pad, myself, so I can cycle through my items without stopping to use the control pad. The L, ZL, R, and ZR buttons are sorta clicky, and mildly loose, so they wiggle a bit, but they do exactly as they need to, and they feel just right to press. The home buttons are small, and plastic-y, but that's somewhat expected; they do feel nice to press, and their being right in the middle of the controller make them easy to reach! Now for the d-pad itself. It differs from the rest of the controller, being a metal pad, for some reason; it's nice, and it's pretty, and feels surprisingly nice to use. It responds well when pressed, and I was able to use it to play Super Mario World quite well! At least, until the first castle. I noticed that diagonal presses to the up and right were hardly registering, even though diagonal down-right, and down-left worked just fine. I don't know for certain if it's this model of controller, or if it's a simple fix, but it's going to make platformer gaming more cumbersome for me. Even despite this, though, every other feature of the controller feels just right, so hopefully it won't interfere with my gaming too much.

Omg I love it!! It's so gorgeous the detail is even better in person, I'm such a huge spyro fan and when I saw this it was a must have for me! Its affordable, works great, and has beautiful designs! Thinking of getting the zelda one as well in the future! I did notice the stick stuck but it's not the actual stick it just needs to be paired up properly. Once I paired up properly the stick stopped immediately. It doesnt even feel that cheap it feels pretty sturdy. Such a gorgeous controller cant stop staring at it!
