Resident Evil is my favorite Hollywood movie and the game has touched my heart too. My experience with the game on Xbox has been amazing too. I got a personal account to play which had the settings too. The graphics are kind of realistic, but give am awesome experience. The same goes for the sound effects too!

Resident evil 2 is a fantastic game. I enjoyed playing this game a lot. I got the game right after the payment. The quality of the game is very good, the graphics are very clear and HD. The game has adventurous and mysterious modes which is very fascinating to play.

I really like this game a lot and I could never get tired of this game. Playing for the 3 weeks continuously. It is so much fun and relaxing that I am completely in love with this game. High graphics have been used, Superb game. Must buy and play.

A Great Way to Remake an Already Classic Game
If you're in your 30's like I am, chances are you grew up playing the old Resident Evil games. They were amazing at the time, but if you try to play them nowadays, whoa boy...you're in for some struggles. It's not that they are bad, it's just that modern gaming has improved upon some of the 3D mechanics that these early games just didn't have a grasp on yet. So, when I read that Resident Evil 2 was being remade, my first question was, "what about the controls?" Suffice to say, I wasn't disappointed because the controls and overall gameplay has been completed revamped. Below is a quick bulleted review of the PROS and CONS of this release... PROS: - Incredible graphics. Totally overhauled (obviously since it's re-creating a PS1 game) and it looks beautiful. - Movement has been modernized. Gone are the tank controls of yesteryear, instead replaced with modern controls. - Immersive story with new cutscenes and a more believable tale with less hamfisted dialogue. - Like playing the original all over again, but for the very first time. CONS - This game is tough. It's the same game as before with the stalking enemies and the overall lack of ammo. Thankfully, there are difficulty levels. - Obtuse puzzles. This isn't really a pro or a con, but if you're not familiar with these types of games, you might need to utilize a guide. Overall - highly recommended and will probably be on some peoples Game of the Year Lists for 2019. If you've been itching for a new survival horror game, think about picking it up!

A Great Way to Remake an Already Classic Game
I love the RE series so much and this is definitely a game done right! It’s an amazing survival horror and also beautiful to look at. Even though I’m on edge most of the time playing, it’s impossible for me to put down once I start. Definitely recommend to new comers as well as long time fans. You will not be disappointed.

This is by far the best horror/survival video game ever made. The graphics are second to none as well; they have greatly improved since Resident Evil 7 Biohazard. FYI: The game is NOT too difficult of a game to play like other reviews stated ??...they wouldn’t last an hour in Outlast (no gun) if they thought that was hard. You conserve ammo, weapons, ect....it’s a survival horror game; you’re not supposed to mow down every enemy with a machine gun or rocket launcher ??.

The producers and directors sure listened to the fan audience because it is beyond incredible. The engine used for Resident Evil 7 loooks amazing, the graphics are clead and each detail is enhanced. The story sticks close to the source material as you can play Leon and Claire, and later Hunk. My only regret is not pre-ordering it to obtain the custom S.T.A.R.S handguns. Like all remakes, there are a few changes throughout the game such as the first time Leon and Claire meet. Another is the story of Ada Wong. The new soundtrack and zombies make the game more engaging. Such as the zombies not bleeding a pool of blood after death. Headshots are more harder, l found myself shooting the head three to four times before it popped. The extra DLC that were released for free were also interesting as we get see Kendo or the mayors daughter navigate Raccoon City. Aiming is also hard as there is not assistance unless you're playing it in Easy mode. So making that headshot feels satisfying. However, the game isn't perfect, what game isn't, the running for instance, is extremely annoying. I find myself running slower than the Zombies... l know the reason why it's done that way but when am collecting all the documents or finishing the game under 2hrs (achievements), l find the running to be a hindrance. Maybe introduce sprinting like in Evil Within where stamina is tied to it and can be upgraded. As for glitches, l didn't find anything but players report Mr X appearing twice or zombies becoming temporary immortal. I really hope they work on the Resident Evil 3 because l won't make the same mistake.

BEST horror game ever!
Resident Evil 2 was the first zombie game I've ever played in my life, completely introduced me to survival and zombie-esque horror which has become a long-time favorite of mine. I'm not big on many video games, but Resident Evil has always been a beloved series in my book. It lost its touch over the years, Resident Evil 4 was the last memorable experience for me, and Capcon redeemed itself by bringing back it's true roots with Resident Evil 7. This remake is one of the best games I have ever played, I'm certain it will remain a classic for generations. I'm so grateful to Capcom for reinstating the series to make these beautifully mastered remakes so the new generation can get into the Resident Evil series. Many people confuse the movies for the games, though of course, they have no idea that the games are the true source material and that the movies did not do them justice. This has made it easier to get my fellow gamer friends who didn't play RE2 in 1998 to get into the series, and they're loving it. The game is chilling, sticks to the formula of RE2 original perfectly, the representation of all the games original elements are outstanding, and the classic soundtrack DLC (though you have to pay $2 for it, it's so worth it) throws me back into 1998 nostalgia. You will not be disappointed with this game. Capcom outdid themselves, I'm patiently waiting for Resident Evil 3 Nemesis to now be remade in honor of how much of a success this gem is. Hands down, one of the best zombie games of all time and remakes that masters aesthetics, tension, fear, and experience for survival horror fans. It relies on being analytical, resourceful, and carefully calculating with how you take to go from point A to B the entire game. Keeps you on your toes, the individual storylines for Leon/Claire with the zapping system is cherished from the original, and Capcom threw in extras above the surprises that were included in the original RE2 PlayStation version. If you're interested in giving Resident Evil a shot or want to try out a new challenging zombie/survival horror game, pick up this game.

Best Remake yet
Good graphics/art. Great sound. Bad/clunky controls. Hit detection is horrible. Has a pay dlc for unlockables. I think the game may have been made more difficult specifically for this purpose. (Kill 100 million zombies get infinite handgun and ada'ss nighty, type stuff.) I was/will probably pay because I'm a huge fan of resident evil and want the concept arts, it's just slightly annoying having to grind or become perfect at game to 'unlock' things. The original story has been altered, for this remake. Maybe, not a lot. My memory is a bit of a haze on the original. But it's good enough to know when something is out of place, I just don't know how much. I'm not saying it good or bad they changed it, just it's been changed from the original.

Legendary remake for a classic game.
plenty of ammo if used wisely. awesome game to go with the original memories. do miss the fax machine in stars office going off and startling ya. loved it so much bought ps4 version too to go with my collection. even ordered a design your controller to go with rpd theme. yes I've gone over the top with this game being 60 as well as capcom has. thanks

Good, has pay to win mechanics...
This game gives me anxiety. I don’t want to play this game during the day, but when I play it at night in the dark, I’m hesitant to make progress because I know I’m gonna end up standing in the middle of the living room puckering my leather cheerio while on my tippy toes trying to escape from 3 zombies in the hallway of a dark police station with no ammo, knives, or healing items while being really cautious to not run near any zombies on the floor and getting chills every time you hear a window shutter flapping in the wind. You know, the good kind of anxiety.

RE 2 the remake is a fantastic reimaging of it's original predecessor. By not trying to follow the exact storyline from 1998 aids in adding a dark moody story that in itself is not overly original but works well enough to be entertaining and keeps the remake from being predictable. Except for a few annoyances(will not say as to keep this spoiler free) the game is nearly perfect form. If you are a fan of the originals or never played then I would say pick up a copy and plunge once again into the horrors of Racoon City and Umbrella Corp.

A Great Way to Remake an Already Classic Game
From the get go, the game masterfully brings on the tension, suspense, and horror. As Will Ferrell's character in Eastbound and Down says, "I feel it right down to my plums". The gameplay is smooth, the sound design is spot on, and the incredible graphics amplify the horror elements and brutality in a way that few titles in the survival/horror genre have been able to do. In my opinion, this is a must play current gen game before the onset of the next gen consoles/games later this year. Treat yo self! Even play the game on easy mode if you must. This is a top-tier gaming experience.

This is a excellent thrilling exhilarating on edge can’t get enough resident evil game!! Your gonna wanna keep playing till you beat it which is my type of game...I just completed the story mode with Leon..took me 14:11:21secs with a score C to complete and absolutely loved every minute of the game!!...I honestly DID NOT expect the game to be as good as IT REALLY IS!!DO NOT HESITATE to buy this game! GET IT!!!

Greatest zombie game of the 90s now even better in 2019.
They set up a golden standard of how to remake classic game for the state-of-art console. Graphics are great with 4K HDR, atmosphere is great too. The puzzles are rebuilt so old gamer can still have a lot of fun. Not a five-star review because I can play with Chinese language in the one-shot demo, but it's missing from the release version. Now I know that only Asian version comes with Chinese subtitles (and even Chinese audio). Disappointed with such outdated region-specific feature, and they didn't even state this anywhere.

Excellent Game Get It!!
Not much else to say. I'm a late comer to Resident Evil, but I really enjoy it because it brings something unique to the zombie genre. I never wanted to play the original 3 games though because I struggle so much with tank controls and fixed camera angle. This game finally let me experience the originals greatness with updated graphics and controls that were better suited to me. I'm pretty desensitized to horror, but a game doesn't have to be scary to me to just be enjoyable. Which it is.

Exellent gamming experience but no Chinese language support
I'm glad it's third person but I'm even happier that they changed the mechanics so no you can move around while aiming unlike Resident Evil 4 and 5. Mr. X is a great villain and it really made the game fun having him follow you around. The game looks great and the story is top notch. This is my new favorite Resident Evil game. Let's hope we get a Resident Evil 3 Nemesis remake soon.

Excellent Remake
I have had this game for a couple months. High replayability and so much fun! The graphics are breathtaking and the attention to detail in this game is almost unreal. Things like strands of hair being casted by the flashlight shadow is so great! Definitely for a more mature audience because the gore factor is pretty intense. The ghost survivor DLC was a nice add on that has added hours more of difficult entertainment.

Best Resident Evil game
This is an amazing game. Makes me so happy I got an OLED 4K TV and a X Box X One. I never played the original so can't compare. But this is brilliant. Ranks up there with my all time favorite video game console games. Hope we don't have to wait too many years for the sequel. Definitely one of the best Games of 2019.
