The Name Of The Brand Says It All!
I am more than impressed by the quality of the coffee! The name goes as Starbucks but I do not know about the reality. Still the coffee tastes awesome! Each cup is about 0.35 ounce and all you need is to add some hot water or milk as per your choice. And world's one of the best coffee will be ready!

If you know anything about Cuban Coffee, this is the best. Brings back memories of breakfasts in Havana with Cafe con Leche as a kid in the 50s. Not for the faint of heart. Don't drink it in the evening. I used to make it here in the States when I had to do an all nighter in college But it sure stands up to milk and lets the real flavor come through. Makes a great caffecito. Ordered it in Tampa for a group of American salesmen friends of mine who made fun of the little cup it was served in, UNTIL they tasted it. Everybody had seconds. Not sure how late they stayed up that night, but I'd bet it was pretty late. THis is REAL coffee!

Before buying these k-cups, the last time I'd had Bustelo was in college in the late 70s and early 80s, when ground Bustelo in a can, 'smuggled' upstate from NYC, was the only alternative to the likes of Maxwell House was diner coffee in blue and white paper to-go cups or our precious visits to Italian cafes during rare trips to NY. Over the years I learned to buy my coffee from local roasters and grind it myself, but when I visited my mom in CT this winter I bought some Bustelo to try in her Keurig instead of the bleak weak k-cups she had on hand. It was clear there wasn't nearly enough coffee in a k-cup to make my usual mug of extra strong brew, so I brewed a 4 ounce cup. The result was a pleasant surprise: the same bold, honest cup of coffee I remembered. I bought a Kuerig when I got home, and now enjoy that classic Central American flavor every day. I stopped drinking large quantities of coffee a long time ago, so I start with one 4 ounce cup with a little sugar and cream, and follow it up with another a few hours later. Note that a This is not espresso. The brewing temperature is well below that of an espresso machine, the amount of coffee per cup is much less, and the Kuerig provides miniscule pressure compared to the cheapest espresso machine on the market, which makes the result less strong and sweet than a well made espresso. It hasgood flavor in a 4 ounce cup. but you are not going to get a strong 12 ounce cup of hot coffee out of the one or two ounces of coffee grounds in any K-cup, period. But if you're happy with a nice, balanced, uniquely tasty cup of Cuban coffee, this is an excellent choice.

Simply the BEST!
This is the best value I've been able to find for the delicious Bustelo Espresso style k-cups. My husband brought these home to me a couple months ago. One cup and I was hooked. There are lots of other k-cups I enjoyed previously but once you go Bustelo you never go back. It is seriously the only coffee I drink now.

Classic full flavored Bustelo
Love this coffee so glad is comes in K-cups. For the person who was having a problem with the needle clogging I have found that if I pierce the bottom of the cup before putting it in the Kuerig it seems to prevent the clogging. Found this tip on Pinterest about a year when I was same problem. Since I have been doing this a no I no longer have the problem. Hope this helps.

BEST Flavor. Great value!
This coffee is one of the best espresso coffees I have had in my 50 years of savoring my favorite drink. The Coffees body is dynamic from the Flavor, the Aroma, Body and Acidity. In general, and in layman's terms which I am guessing is what you are wanting, I can simply describe 3 types of roasts, light, medium, and dark. This is strictly for a novice because there are many complexities and variables (like coffee origin, the way it is processed, species of coffee, etc., etc.) that people with more experienced and refined palates would describe differently using different terms. So contrary to popular opinion, bitter coffee is not stronger coffee but is actually weaker coffee and less potent.

Quality and convenience. I've been sold on Kuerig for its ease of use and single serve convenience. I usually have more than one cup every morning but I don't have to pour out unused portions as you do with drip makers. Cafe Bustello tastes great every time. Flavorful but Not too strong.

Conissures Delight ......??
Because if I were, I'd be missing out on some delicious coffee! Is it a true espresso from an espresso maker? No, but for a k-cup pod that is made in a KEURIG, it is absolutely wonderful. The taste holds up under my frothy or steamed creamer/milk combination and I enjoy my latte everyday. If you're a coffee snob looking for a real espresso out of a Keurig, you'll be disillusioned; don't buy Cafe Bustelo, but if you're looking for an "espresso like drink" and great coffee from a KEURIG, this is for you and you'll be glad you're not a coffee snob too!

Quality and convenience one cup at a time
If you want good coffee shop quality espresso, maybe go to the coffee shop. These cups will fulfill your craving if you cannot find your espresso fix another way. We have been drinking these cafe bustelo cups for a couple of years. Occasionally we will get a batch that the Keurig machine doesn’t like. What I mean by that is the machine might only make a small cup because the contents of the Kcup might not penetrate the filter layer inside or the espresso mix may be under too much pressure, push espresso mix up into the water intake when you close the lid and gum up the machine. Just remember to clean your machine by running just hot water without any Kcup in the machine at least once a week.

Great coffee to make espresso or cappuccino! Seriously, unless you’re some kinda coffee snob who insists on “that it absolutely must have bar pressure to be a true espresso!”, then this is a darn good coffee to make those strong shots you’re looking for! Will this make the same you’d get from a true espresso machine or in a coffee shop? Nope, but then again, I just want a darn good quick espresso that I can make in my own home with the machine I have. If that’s you as well, then by all means, buy this coffee!

Well, another k-cups taste test is done: Bulletproof French Kick dark roast vs Cafe Bustelo. Color: Cafe Bustelo was noticeably darker in color. Both had pleasant colors, but Cafe Bustelo was darker. 10 to 7 Taste: Cafe Bustelo also had a noticeably stronger coffee flavor; 10 to 7 Note: Bulletproof French Kick dark roast also has a bit of a strange taste. I'm not enough of a coffee connoisseur to know what it is, but it isn't just a strong coffee flavor. Price: Even if you buy 60 at a time, Bulletrpoof French Kick dark roast k-cups cost over twice as much as Cafe Bustelo.

I love this coffee!
There you go. An honest review. I was hoping for more, but what I got was acceptable. Not saying that my letdown was the coffee. Dripping "espresso" through a Keurig is like trying to get the experience of a Ferrari driving in a Chrysler. Not saying anything is wrong with the Chrysler. You're just not going to get the same sensation. Same is with this Bustelo. Maybe it comes out in Nespresso pods and I'll give that a try. I currently push DelicItaly Nespresso pods through that machine using their froth maker for the milk. It's an ok cappuccino in a pinch. Still not a true espresso like my real boiler made (but gave to my son). Still better than these Bustelo K-cups in my Keurig. It also tasted a little "muddy". Not sure why.... Won't be buying them again. I'd sooner push Lavazza K-cups, dark, through the Keurig and get a decent cup of reuglar coffee - than a crummy tasting espresso or cappuccino.

Cafe Bustelo is still the winner, beat out Bulletproof French Kick dark roast.
I generally grind my beans at home just as I need them, and make my coffee in a press. Petty tough to beat the flavor doing it that way unless the beans are poor quality or stale. But on weekdays I'm in a bit of a hurry and started looking for a decent brand of K Cup coffee to save myself time. I tried many, but this one is excellent. Not weak or bitter ... my two biggest complaints about most K Cups. Flavoring lousy, weak coffee just masks the problem and since I'm a coffee purist I'm not a big fan of flavorings. This is just great coffee.

Better than most K-cups, But a little muddy tasting
I tried these because in my Keurig, , regular strength coffee and even dark roast was too weak for a large cup, especially once I added my creamer (I like a lot) This is perfect, I can make a large mug of coffee without losing the bold rich flavor of the coffee. It is not bitter in the slightest.

Great to make large serving without losing flavor
I have these as a continuous order every 3-5 months to get the best deal. It’s still pricey but k-cups are in general. Husband and I hate the weakened coffee flavor that comes with k-cups but these aren’t too weak. I have tried other brands to spice up our routine and I find myself crawling back to these. I’m Spanish background, husband works FD. We live off strong coffee!

I Have Mixed Feelings About This Product
In the past, I ordered award winning coffee beans, roasted them, ground them, and brewed them precisely. Now I just want strong, affordable, good-tasting coffee that I can make quickly. Cafe Bustelo best fits that criteria. I still will switch it around with Marley, Laughing Man and 1850 dark options but Cafe Bustelo is the most affordable.

Continuous order
Move over Green Mountain Dark Magic, Cafe Bustelo is now my #1. From a recent review: "espresso-style...robust flavor, captivating aroma" - for serious coffee lovers, captivating indeed! I used to use a dash of milk in other coffees, but somehow knew not to make that mistake with this one. And, there's no harsh aftertaste. How am I, a 50+ year coffee drinker, just discovering this perfect cup of coffee? Good things come to those who wait. My wait is over.

Unbeatable for Taste & Value
I only started drinking coffee after we received a Keurig machine for Christmas one year. I was surprised at the quality of the coffee via K-cups. Some can be full & flavorful. Others can be downright dreadful watered-down mess. The Cafe Bustelo k-cups have full bodied flavor even at the larger volume setting. There's a cocoa and nuttiness to the flavor but I do add some creamer which may change the flavor somewhat. I'd say its between a medium to dark roast, which is perfect for me.
