We received a tin of these put into a basket with other holiday treats. I had never had them before, and when I ate the first one, it reminded me of a shortbread recipe my wife's family makes. Buttery and perfectly sweet. Not being a Danish Butter Cookie snob, I have nothing to compare them with, but I am perfectly content with these! The words to describe them that come to mind include delicious, decadent and luxurious! Mmmmmm! ??

These are significantly less expensive at the local Trader Joes. Great cookies, better than the dark blue can Danish cookies.
