My favorite tea!
I wouldn't classify myself as a tea snob, but I do really enjoy a variety of tea, and I'm picky when it comes to black tea. I want something strong, with a lot of body that will stand up to milk. Twinings is absolutely my go-to. I've tried loose leaf English Breakfast tea from Teavana and other specialty tea stores, and have always been disappointed. Their flavor is more plant-like, and less smokey, and overall weaker than Twinings. This tea also doesn't get bitter when I steep it for too long. Sometimes I forget, and it'll steep for 30 minutes. I just get a stronger cup of tea, not a bitter one. I really like this 100-count box. I can only find 50-count at my grocery store, and the 100-count is a better price than buying 2 of the 50-count, even on the best grocery store sale price. The box is a little big, but I usually move the teabags into an empty 50 count box (you can fit probably 80 in there pretty efficiently) and then stash the rest in empty mugs, so I don't have to accommodate such a big box in my little tea cabinet.

My favorite tea!
Great quality. Surprised by other reviews that say tea is of bad quality. Perhaps the purple packaging and yellow packaging (which I received) are actually different earl grey products. Tea steeps well, also good for cold brewing in room temp or cold water. Each bag sealed in foil bags (see pics). Bag tears easily, convenient. Some grinds remain after tea is steeped, but that also happens with other tea brands like Numi and Lupicia, as I've discovered. Great quality especially for the price. Recommend.

Cheerio, My Good Sir!
I don't drink coffee. I'm a lifelong tea drinker - and I'm very picky about my tea. In 1971, my mother-in-law - an immigrant to the US and raised in a tea drinking only household - introduced me to Nabob tea. The difference in flavor and body of Nabob tea compared to the Lipton and Red Rose teas I had been drinking all my life was dramatic. I immediately changed my preferred brand of tea to Nabob and drank it for many years until I was no longer able to find it on grocery store shelves. It was pre computers and I was unable to obtain any information or answers to my questions regarding Nabob. Over the years I feel comfortable saying I probably tried every brand of tea I ran across in search of a tea similar to and as satisfying as Nabob. My search came to an end when I brewed my first pot of Twinings tea. I'm an old woman now and I'm hoping that when I brew my very last pot of tea, I'm able to use Twinings.

This Is Good Tea
I’ve been drinking tea since the 1960’s and remember when all tea wasn’t just black tea, but wonderful blends of high quality teas that gave floral aromas and complex flavors that were rich and distinctive! That all changed around the 90’s I think when all tea in the US became nothing but flat tasting black tea. Most still are; but not Twinnings English Breakfast Tea! This is the tea of my youth with the inviting aromas and rich flavor! Other than Brewleys Irish Tea Twinnings is my first choice! Brewleys comes in second. In short if you want to drink a tea you won’t want to put down buy Twinnings English Breakfast Tea! You’ll buy more!

Have been buying a long time- first issue
I was a little skeptical about buying this at first. My mom was going to kick my butt for buying so much tea. But I needed Earl Grey. It's my favorite and this was the best price out there. It's a great price so that had me questioning the quality of the tea. It tastes great and the tea lasts me for more than 36oz of hot water. Now I can drink tea whenever I want and I can take my favorite flavor with me when I travel. I also don't have to be some nutty gollum when I share my tea now because it brings a great amount of tea. Good flavor, good quality, amazing amount & the best price.

My favorite tea
I like this Darjeeling tea a lot. But the Pack of 6 boxes of 50 count tea bags I got in July 2018 had a January 2019 expiration date, barely 6 months out. This is not a lot of time to consume 300 tea bags. By contrast, the Pack of 6 boxes of 20-count that I got in February 2018 had a July 2020 expiration date. This implies that the short-dated batch had been on the shelf for maybe a year. Not exactly fresh. If you get short-dated product you may want to consider returning it.

I like having a spot of tea, the same as Lisbeth the Queen, it is one of her favorites teas, it is absolutely delish with just a hint of lemon or lime , I can't tell the difference & in spite of the fact I like neither it is delish with this tea combination, if you like tea with a hint of fruit this is just up your alley, I mean the queen is ninety & she is still partaking of it, you can't get a better endorsement then that, ey,

Check the expiration date if you buy this tea
I absolutely love this tea in the morning and usually have two or three mugfuls until lunch. Once in a while I'll switch off to Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea (for a bit more of a punch) or PG Tips (just for variety), but the EBT is my fave for subtle, rich, well-rounded flavor that goes with any breakfast. I tried it a month ago and dropped the morning coffee instantly! This satisfies without the stomach issues and the caffeine crash in late morning.

It is sealed & easy opening
My favorite tea, which I just recently got a taste for. Love having a large box, this is such a better value than any grocery store. If you like it full bodied, seep for a little longer, if you like it a little weaker, seep for up to a minute. I reuse the same bag twice sometimes and the second cup is just as good as the first!

Look forward this every morning
I absolutely fell in love with this delicious premium tea when given to me by a co-worker. I had to order and get more. I was a die-hard Lipton Tea drinker before, but Twinings is top of the tea plant and not cut castings like Lipton. It did take a bit to get here but well worth the wait, it was coming from England ya know. The tea comes in two foil sealed bags of 50. I opened one, then zip-locked the remainder and put the other pouch in the fridge. Proceeded to make me a "cupper" and sit out on my deck in the cool morning air enjoying my breakfast tea with a fresh cinnamon bagel. Life is good with a cup of Twining breakfast tea. Cheers

Twinings of London English Breakfast Black Tea Bags, 100 Count
My first Earl Grey. I have been trying different teas these past months and find this one too be different. It is light and I can taste the "citrus", but it's not over powering. I like it with 1 teaspoon of honey. I know some people have poured on the hateful reviews but I don't get that. It's one thing to share a disappointment but anger? I think you should find a tea you enjoy. If you don't then return it and try another. Not complicated. Overall I like Twinings teas be and will continue to buy them.

Dang, That's a LOT of Tea
Best tasting and least bitter tea I have tried. Considerably better than some more expensive teas I've purchased. Still looking for that "perfect tea" but this is the one I'll drink daily until I possibly find something better. Also it's worth mentioning many teas if I drink them consistently tend to give me some tummy troubles. So far Twinnings Breakfast Tea has been wonderful for digestion.

I have been drinking this Twinings tea on and off for many years. As a Brit I feel that I know good tea from bad. It has a relatively full taste but I sometimes use two teabags in order to get that solid black tea depth of flavor. Please note that the flavor rating on this brew is four leaves out of five.
