An excellent choice for long-haired pets as it helps remove that hard to get to undercoat! With regular use, mats are a thing of the past! Sharp wave-shaped stainless steel blades are the perfect distance apart to allow easy removal of tangles and mats The handle is ergonomically designed, allowing a comfortable grip. Blades are almost 2" long. 
The blades were a little too long for the dog I purchased it for. I tried it 2 times & noticed she was getting red marks from, it so I stopped using it & purchased a different one with only 1.25" blades for her. It is a little dusty from sitting around.
