This cute pen / pencil box has a brass overlay on the wood. There is some damage, and some missing pieces of the brass overlay as seen in the photos. The wood is heavily damaged on the inside, and there is also wear and damage to the outside. Again this is documented in the photos. The overall length is 7 inches on the outside and the inside storage area is 6 inches long. The width is 2 1/4 inches across the outside and 1 1/4 inches along the inside opening. The depth of the opening is 1/2 inch deep on both the bottom and top portions of the opening. It measures 1 7/8 inches from the center top of the box to the bottom when closed. It would be perfect to hold vintage pens or pencils, small pieces of jewelry, or even spare change. It will display well with other vintage desk top collectibles.
